[Surtr]

So as anyone in an FRR unit knows, we are the small-fries of the Inner Sphere, with the fewest planets (except maybe St. Ives) and destined to be roflstomped when the clans show up in the spring. I think it only prudent that we start organizing and coordinating on a unit to unit scale.
So if you represent a FRR house unit or Merc. Corp, make yourself known here. I will update a list as people add their units and websites.

My hope is to eventually have a council of most FRR units who can contribute a CO/XO pair to make strategic plans/trends for the FRR as a whole so we can keep those smelly Dracs and stuck up Lyrans off our backs. This list can also serve as a directory for potential recruits to find units to run with.

UPDATE: The Kungsarmé now has its own website, this is a place for general communication between all FRR units, both Merc and House. The URL is: http://kungsarme.enjin.com/.
This is still going to be a directory for FRR players to find units to join up with however. There will also probably be a FRR c3 channel in the near future for easier communication.

Interesting idea. Has thought been given to the form of the "Council" at all? We can brainstorm together, but how are decisions made? Will units ever be removed? If so, for what reasons (aside from them folding)? Is this more of a unit directory to allow communication than any sort of decision-making body?

I hesitate for fear of drama.

At first I think it should just be used as a unit directory. However as we get a better picture of what CW looks like we should collectively decide if there even needs to be a council. I think having good cross unit communication already in place could give us an edge up. In my initial idea there would be an elected head of council, then have some sort of sections for Merc. groups and a section for house units (Kungsarme). Throw some ideas around in the Skjaldborg as far as I know ya'll are one of the bigger FRR units right now so having your support and brain resources would be pretty crucial I think.

Hm, why not, we'll throw our hat in. As long as we make sure to avoid issues of "authority" and "exclusivity" and the like, it shouldn't be a problem for us to participate in some networking.

Also i just like to point out that the correct name should be allting.. without the h... since swedish is the original official language for FRR. Although the term it self is a modern construction of a older occurrence it serves well enough. the direct translation is pretty much just "the grand council". It is still the name of the Icelandic government

Haha, I knew that actually, but I appreciate the observation. I like using the th version, I think it looks cooler. My unit name also doesn't need an umlaut on the e at the end, but it looks better that way too!

Not to mention people unfamiliar with such things might not be aware of the subtlety and just think we are not very smart

Gunzburg Igels - German unit
Sword of Rasalhague - I know they're dealing with some internal adjustments at the moment.
Doom Riders - I don't know if they've officially sided with the FRR, but somehow they were nicknamed the Codpiece of Rasalhague.
Firepower Unlimited, LLC - Don't know if they're FRR only, but Kobold is their "Director of Operations" and he's always seemed staunchly FRR.
Ulfhednar - Don't know if they're still active or not.

It is a bit sad, considering the good momentum we have in the FRR that we can not affect the history at large.. But maybe we can carve out a new empire in the periphery once the fertilizer hit the heatsink so to speak.
