Hello

I would like to add a unit to the ranks of the FRR. The 2nd Kavalleri (Masters of Stealth), which I hope to have up and running by launch. Give me a few days and I should have a website which anyone can stop and take a look at!

Thanks, Rouge Six

Just a heads up, the dev's have stated that players cannot run canon units, so I would suggest possibly making your own unit in the same vein of the kavelleri (light regiment etc.)

So much for lore then, I guess I'll just have to go back and redo......And thanks for the info!

No problem. If you have any lore questions, especially about the FRR, feel free to PM me. I've dug through a lot of the sourcebooks to extract the FRR specific stuff. If you can find it, Historical: Brush Wars, is invaluable for writing canonical back story.

Greetings all! Hail the honored dead!

I seem to have found something of interest to me here. Do we have a real body here that will help us ward off our bordering enemies?

Iam more than willing to assist in anyway you seem fit. I am from a decorated clan of ancient history and unwavering loyalty.

Hark! I bestow upon our brothers and sisters blessings and hope that our futures will be met with glorious vicotories and if nothing else honorable deaths!

Update for the 168th "Thunder Legion." We are now operating under the wing of Phoenix Company to work towards a more stable community for our players. If you guys have any questions contact me personally at the168th@gmail.com or visit PC's recruitment page at the following link. http://mwomercs.com/...-is-recruiting/

Greetings!
This is a very interesting idea, banding together the nation before hand to prevent internal wars over people hating on each other in game that could possibly bring our small gathering to a stand still. I have posted this tread to the clan I am apart of to see there opinions as the Co of NA and Co of EU are both rolling with the Free Rasalhague Republic Banner as it stands. As for me this seems like a great idea for both the Free Rasalhague Republic and players who enjoy playing as a team.

Yes, I would think we can make up unit designations like "6th Drakons" and "5th Kavalleri".
On other threads people have proposed "Hakkapeliita" as a name for a light cavalry unit, which would be equivalent to Kavalleri.

Also, while I was looking for Nordic names, I came across "Landvaettir": Guardian earth sprites that the old Norse spoke of.
...And, "Ulfhednar": Warriors who took the shape of wolves in battle.

Unfortunately for me, my internet searches aren't finding a lot of words related to cats.

Did abit of searching myself in regards to the Nordic language and cats, and came across this. "The Skogkatt is a large breed, known for their strong bones and muscular forms."

^ Yes, the skogkatt is also known as the Norwegian forest cat. Big, big domestic breed.
The other 2 cat words I've found are for the lynx.
Nothing related to a snow leopard, however...probably because it doesn't exist that far west.

Hey there Torage! I head the 1st Rasalhague Dragonregimente, we are currently recruiting laid back pilots for all types of play. If you are interested please head over to 1strdr.enjin.com and fill out an app (which i'll push through quickly) If you have more questions feel free to PM me.

We aim to allow all types of play, from casual group pugging to competitive and casual 8-man play. We use c3 for voice comms currently, however it is very easy to set up and use. Not to mention as a cavalry/dragoon oriented command, your favored chassis will find a good home.

Hey Sandy Claws! I head up the 1st RDR. We are all the things you described above! We try to cater to any player type, from super grognardy Battletech fans (like myself) to casual players who just want to blow up robots. We even have a competitive squad if that's your cup of tea!

We are looking to recruit quite a bit before 12v12 and Community Warfare is implemented, and we STILL don't have anyone who likes to make us fancy banners and logo's!

Head on over to 1strdr.enjin.com and put in a quick application and I'll get you on the books right away.

Well, maybe joining a group wouldn't be so bad...
I'm swedish FRR player (but i speak english very well) who have played solo since closed beta, now I am looking to join a group. I Don't know if i'm that good when it comes to competetive play (never played anything competetive before), but I think that it'd be fun to actually play as a team for once. As for what mechs I use, well I got a little bit of everything, although my only elite mechs are my highlanders. So yeah, i'm just looking to have some fun in a FRR group, anyone willing to perhaps take me in?

Jack, I'm decidedly not competitive, but I'm having more fun now that I'm playing with the 1st RDR. :P
We have players in several time zones, so I'm sure you'd fit right in.

Hey Surtr, it seems you really care about this thread not dying. It is a valorous effort but the current meta is making everyone leave. I bet we have under concurrent 2K players. Queuing for 8 mans is a complete joke, you can truly see the state of the game if you try to do 8 mans competitively. Anyway, since i'm from the 5th Drakøns, I thought we could set up a good old fashion skirmish just between us FRR. 5th Drakøns vs. 1st RDR. What do you say?

Sure. I'll put your app through as a diplomat and we can organize something. What timezone are most of your folks on?
