On certain maps with deep water, light mechs appear to be able to fire all their weapons, despite some (if not all) hardpoints being submerged. Can larger mechs that fire into water, also penetrate water to hit a mech that is 80% under water but can still fire? I'm not sure they can...

Nice feature, which I assume it is working as designed.

Read the patchnotes everytime there's a patch and you won't have to ask questions.

Explosions explode on the surface of the water and spawn water explosion effects

AC/Gauss/PPC type weapons now pass through water and deal a reduced amount of damage depending on depth of the hit

Laser water hit effects spawn at the correct location on the surface of the water and deal a reduced amount of damage depending on depth of the hit
