Why does this mech come stock with C.A.S.E?

For the same reason the AS7-K comes with one?

Because that's how the mech was built in-universe.

However, the thing it was useful for was to save the pilot, which is useless here.

If you have CASE equipped with an XL engine and you suffer an ammo/gauss rifle explosion, it'll cost you a lot less to repair than it would if you didn't have it.

Who cares its the best mech value for the parts and upgrades available! A 5.2 mill engine and 1.5 DHS upgrade standard makes it a 400k mech and the other stuff!

>drop small laser
>add med. laser
>convert to EndoSteel
>add 1 heatsink to engine
>convert to ferro-fibrous armor

Optional:
>move UAC/5 ammo to head
>swap XL320 engine for XL300
>add 4th med. laser
>add another heatsink to engine
