I equipped two Ultra AC5s on my hunchback only for them to jam up early in the fight, I was unable to fix them and was useless to the team. I did ask but got no help in game
How do I unjam them?

You can't, afaik.
Would be cool to have some key or something to hit and keep hitting until it works again (shake canon

Thanks for the reply Gartenlaube, it inspired me to google the problem and found how unjam the weapon. It just goes to show there's a need for clear explanations of the more advanced game mechanics.

The UAC5 has become a special weapon. It not only fires once per cycle, but twice. Holding down the trigger on a UAC5 to fire two shots in a single reload cycle is called "Double shotting". This sharp increase in firepower, however, comes at a price. If you double shot with a UAC5, you suffer a 10% chance for the weapon to jam. If your weapon does jam, it will not fire until you unjam the weapon.
How to unjam your UAC5:
Step1: recognise your UAC5 is jammed by observing the blue flashing numbers on the bottom right of your HUD
Step 2: Select the row of the UAC5 and column of the flashing 1 using the arrow keys. Press right control twice.
Step 3: Select the 2nd column in the same row by pressing the right arrow key and press right control twice.
Step4: Continue resetting the jam of the weapon by pressing right arrow, right ctrl, right ctrl, until all fire groups are reset.
Note: each control group can be reset in any order.

This thread is valuable.
I just tried out my UAC5 for the first time. Of course, I jammed it almost immediately. Luckily 2 people in my pub game were able to help (one was even on the enemy team!)

If you run the weapon regularly I'd suggest configuring a macro for the unjam sequence, allows you do it pretty much instantly and it's a pain to do it in combat otherwise. Can't configure macros in game obviously but there are tools like AutoHotkey or e.g. my mouse comes with a macro function.

Yeah, there definitely needs to be a better way to clear the jam than going through and double tapping across the fire groups. It's bad enough that there is a jam mechanic but it's understandable and I can accept that. Having to take your hand off either the movement keys or the mouse for the time it takes to clear is pretty much a death sentence.

I am quite certain there is such a device floating around the net, though I'm not cleared to tell you where.
