I'll second what the boss said!
As an American living overseas, I've had a blast playing with our Euro brothers in the 7th and 8th Battalions. Awesome bunch of guys, and there's always groups to drop with.
If you're in the US and have odd playtimes, check us out.
Plus, for new players, we have a very structured suite of classes to teach you all aspects of MWO and make you a better MechWarrior!

Used to bull's-eye womp rats in my Jeagermech back home. They're not much bigger than two meters.

-We almost always have 50+ people online playing. This means that you can normally find a 12 man group or a 4 man whichever you prefer.
- Multiple levels of pilots. We have brand new people learning the game (and people helping them) and varied skills up to and including a RHOD tourney team that just went undefeated in their division.
- We also have actual courses (the list keeps on growing) in which you can learn basic skills as well as sharpen advanced skills.
- A friendly and low drama environment. In big groups, something that people always hate is drama. It's impossible to be drama free, but our strong goal is to keep it low.
- A group that is committed to kicking arse in CW when it comes out. You can be sure that when CW launches the HHoD will be at the tip of the Davion Spear. Don't be scrambling for a CW team at the last minute.
If you are looking for a great group of people and love mechwarrior. Swing on by our TS and give us a visit.

For the beginners, we have a basic training system, and opportunities for mentorship under an experienced Lance Leader. This, of course, is all in addition to having teammates fight with you, and help you build up your skill.
For intermediate players, we regularly field 12-man premade drops. We also have more advanced classes that will hopefully help polish your skills on such drops, or allow you to break out of your comfort zone.
For the competitively-minded experienced pilot, membership in our competitive team, Team 007, is also an option. We participate in such tournaments as Run Hot or Die (RHoD) and Last 'Mech Standing (lms).
Hope to see you all in HHoD - come hang out on our TS!
First round at the Silver Swan is on me... Come check it out !

Team 007 finished the Rhod regular season undefeated and finished the play-off in 3rd place, and is in the top 10 overall for all ranked competitive teams across all leagues.
I'm proud of what we were able to accomplish, especially as we don't go out of our way to focus recruiting super top level players (I think even a few of ours got poached?), all the 007 members started out as regular HHoD members and we got where we did through training and dedications

I came to this game with some background (MW3) and a lust for all things battletech. Admittedly when I was approached about joining HHoD I was skeptical, I thought "I'm not very good so I won't fit in, and "do I have to make this huge time commitment? am I going to disappoint them by playing three times a week?". Guess what? it is now about (almost exactly) a year later. My confidence has changed, I feel good about where I'am in game play, not awe inspiring but good enough to not embarrass myself. Through personal choice I have upped my game play time, the folks on here are just plain fun to be with. If i miss a week, I'm chorused with a "hey, you ok?" not a "where the he__ have you been". There is training, you get to play with people that are considered in the top echelon of the game, seriously, some of the best players out there reside quietly in the TS server, and play with anyone. You can be competitive (never thought I would but...) or you can just be part of a group and play any night you want. Things are getting a bit more serious now, as CW approaches, but it is still pretty loose and fun. If you come play, no matter your level, I guarantee you will learn something new, or find a new interest in the game. And, I'm not going to tell you what Novocain calls me, it's too terrible to list....... luv ya Novo!
