Because the founders program was supposed to be a limited time offer for people to fund the game. However the devs have said they will do similar programs in the future

They should. They are probably losing money with their silly f2p model and "hero mechs." I will eventually walk away from the game if there is no way to BUY the whole product for a reasonable price. F2p is not for me, sorry.

Umm buying founders only got us a mech or 4 depending on which package you bought, plus some mc, and premium time. Founders dont have all the mechs purchased or any other advantages we just got a deal.

Buying my founders only got me 10k MC and premium time with no mechs lol What's the "package" to buy? I just earn money a little faster and have MC in my account. You can buy the exact same thing now jsut not have the founders badge that I have

Yeah, the founder's program was a way to buy discounted in-game currency, get a month or two of "premium Time" to see what it's like, and get some exclusive Mechs with c-bill bonses in a way that shows you were financially supporting and participating in this game before it was even launched to the public.

The "Founders Club" is exclusive to those who bought into the game early on just faith, alone (and were conveniently blessed with spending money at the time).

You can equal founders with a large enough purchase of MC to get premium time and a YLW, it's not as good a deal though.

Grab a Yen Lo Wang, an extra hangar space, 2 months of premium time and keep some spare MC and you're pretty much a founder.

You'll have the same experience and money-earning benefits as any Founder. Hold on to your cash and buy any other +C-bills% mechs they release in the future.

But I want a good deal. Economics 101–you set the price higher than equilibrium and demand falls.

Probably what I will end up doing if they don't release some kind of "package" eventually. Thanks for advice.

We have no idea when they will but it's almost guaranteed they will have package deals periodically. I'd probably look for them to correspond with big patches and content releases

Antony give it some time I'm sure they will offer some rotating package deals eventually. Also we founders have not purchased the full game. while I am unwilling to do the math at this very moment I would hazard to say buying enough mech slots plus all mechs would cost you over $400 USD and that may be a low estimate.

Well it was basically a reward for those of us who paid for sight unseen and took a huge risk that we'd even get to play the game.

I hope they give people avenues to continue to support it however. If not the same thing, some "combo package" that includes like a "Supporter" special variant or something. I'd be cool with that (especially if it was like the founders, special paint job but same mech as normal with a bonus to income.)

Hey, make a similar package to the Founder's package (but not as good) and you'd probably have Founders purchasing it too...

Something like +50% MC per dollar (so, not quite as good as the Elite package, but similar "suggested value" of the Legendary or Veteran package) and I'd buy it.

If I had to give a guess, the next package deal similar to the Founders program will happen around the same time CW drops, which will probably coincide with the full launch of the game.

I created my own founders pack... I dumped 300.00 dollars into the game. I have 16 mechs, which includes both hero mechs.

Worked out great!

But it's not launched, it's "beta". Pre-launch offers should still be available, then. Otherwise, buying Founder at any level should have given immediate access to closed beta with full priviledges in giving feedback on features.

All founders were given access to Closed Beta. We are now in Open Beta.
