my PC's specs is:
i5 2500k 4.3ghz
HD 7950 clocked at 950/1300
g.skill ripjaws 8gb 1600

Im just thinking why am i dipping below 50 FPS on max settings @ 1366x768 resolution... and i am over the recommended system requirements. is this game really not that optimized or is it just optimized for nvidia?

Your Performance is ok for the moment - probably the game is not yet fully optimzed.

LOW PERFORMANCE?

With my pooh-pooh system i'm averaging 30-45 frames, and that's GREAT performance. Before I upgraded to windows 7 from XP, 20 frames was good enough...

@Sean - below 50 like 45 :D its very low for my specs...

@Thorqemada - yeah i think its not yet that optimized. i really dont want my FPS go down below 60..

I run at 60 fps dipping below occasionally @ max settings and 1920x1080 - it may be your CPU is limiting your FPS as I have heard this game is quite CPU intensive. That's a good overclock though so I would be surprised.

As mentioned above it's quite obvious there is quite some optimisation to be done yet so I would be quite satisfied it will run well eventually.

For reference I run:

i7 2600k
670gtx (1ghz+ version)
8 gig ram

Raident, I have a better computer than you in almost every way. I get no more than 25 FPS in combat regardless how high or low my settings are, due to bugs of some sort. It's still mostly playable. I think you're whining too much.

whining too much? if you have better system than me and you get that abysmal FPS then something is wrong with your computer.. i deserve a better FPS/ optimization...

btw Knyght, update your drivers

I don't run any overclock at all on my CPU, so slightly your performance is slightly curious (It will go to over 4 Ghz though) - perhaps try it with no overclock as an experiment and see if there is a drop and by how much?
