Hey I'm just wanted to see how many people on here have played Mechassault or Lone Wolf and to see it any one who did play it online remembers the gamer tag rootedcookie2 if not post your old gamer tag maybe some one else will remember you when they check out this page.

No idea.... But I'd be scared to go on there now... I tried playing World at War the other day, and people were flying through the air like the characters on 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.' Wasn't happy at all.

All the servers for MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf have been shut down. The only way to play online would be rent a server or LAN. Either way, there are a few Mechassult fans around...

We MA fans are the silent, fifth pillar. There was an ugly rumor going around that c6c6dog and I are actually the SAME person...I am here to dispel that awful thought. Besides, he is MUCH better looking than I am.

MechAssault servers ARE indeed all shotdown, but if you go to MACommunity.net, there is a thread with a good walk through tutorial posted by a fan that explains how to get it hooked up over an internet connection. Also, if you were into MA, then you might want to have a look at this new game:

They are about to begin open beta testing and it is being made by the same group that made the first two MA games! I think you will like it, and if you decide to register, use Red Beard as a reference, willya?

Me it's in the xbox360 I got the LE version with bonus maps I'm at one Mission where you gotta take out 4 atlases in a power armor suit and few missile defense sites

As for teh people who played only Mech Assault, I would suggest you try that game, but play a bit of original MW with others, too. You will get things like Mad Cat, Nova Cat and others you probably liked, they will just perform a bit differently.

You and C6 have been my only two references to anything MA related for a while now, I'll be sure to mention your name and C6's if I do decide to get in some arcade 'mech action again. Its nice that the MA fans finally get something, too. (Although, Reign of Thunder seems to compete pretty close with Hawken)

To everyone! There is a program you run from your laptop and or desktop that is call Xlink Kai. Its an alternative FREE original Xbox live. It uses system link and broadcasts it over the internet. Currently everyone is playing Halo 2 and that's good and all but I've been dying to play MechAssault or MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf with someone. If someone would like to play with me that would be great! My username on Xlink kai is mushedy. and my Skype is david.sullivan379. message me if you wish to play and if you have troubles getting it started message my Skype. Its all free and I'm dying to play with someone! (Note: This program also supports other broadcasted system links like GameCube, PlayStation 2, PSP, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.)
