Burying your heads in the sand wont change or fix the game one iota, and gamers will go elsewhere to vent their frustrations, turning your name into mud in the process. This is your mess, man up, and deal with the complaints like adults instead of trying to hide them.

between posts like this derailing threads and multiple threads the MODs honestly (in my opinion) are just trying to keep the forums cleaned up. Post your thought in an existing thread and I'm willing to bet they don't get locked

Ever notice 1,000's users 20 page threads diverged into crazyland sideshow's? New threads on old topics are totally necessary.

Not if you kept the old topics alive by posting there instead of seeing 20 posts on the front page about the exact same subject because everyone feels their ideas are important enough to have their own thread

I think what surprises me most is the apparent lack of significant internal testing. The DHS issue wasn't found until the players noticed it after it was patched to their live servers. How the HDR issue got in to the release I don't know .. and for me at least it isn't fixed ... glowing mechs still black out my entire display ... which is ridiculous ... and it doesn't look good either. In the current patch there are significant doubts about how balanced the Artemis system is ... the amount of heat now generated by pulse lasers ... and the on-going questions of heat balance for PPCs and some of the other large energy weapons.
In addition there are significant issues with the economy (especially for the non-premium players) which they said would be patched for open beta but I can't see any sign of it ... matches have a lot of lights and mediums because they are the only ones that can be run with a decent rate of income.

The point is this
New player comes to forums
New player wants to find info on something
New player actually searches
New players finds 56 posts on the subject they are wanting to learn about
Scenario 2
New player joins forums
New player sees 20 posts on the exact same subject
New player gets confused on where to look for info
Scenario 3
I come on to forums.
I see 12 posts on exact same subject on front page
I have to look through 8 pages just to get to something other than a post regarding LRMs, DHS, Gauss, or MM

1) Bad MM
2) Broken economy(It rewards you for doing nothing!)
3) Broken DHS

You make it seem like that search actually works on the forums. It doesn't. The best way to find something on the forums is to use Google. LOL

without 20 milliion posts and properly titled posts (instead of using titles as sensationalism) it would work
*shrugs* them's the rules of the forum regardless. don't follow them threads get locked and deleted.

EVERY (not some, not most, not a few but EVERY) legit thread I've seen locked was a thread that should have either been posted in patch feedback section OR a duplicate thread that should have been put in another existing thread. There are no martyrs here

and posts like this offer nothing other than more nonsense posted on the forums which just clutters up pertinent info
