Is it? I haven't gotten any word on it.. but PC gamer thinks its Mech Commander but multiplayer.. so like the starlance and TFS days of MC before Gold and MC2.

MWT is an Asymmetrical Turn-Based Strategy Game. It is definitely more like the table top game than the RTS MechCommander.

EDIT: I also wouldn't hold my breath counting on PC Gamer even knowing what BattleTech is.

Yeah I agree I think it is going to be a totally different game, really looking forward to seeing what they are going to bring to the Mechwarrior universe

a decade of waiting, the goal is almost in sight.

I see some old name tags i recognize, (DBH), and many new ones i do not,
good to see this franchise attracting the next next generations of players...

Beta testing is sometimes fun, but ive been testing for Yoone for the past 2 years, and they' ve just about frustrated me to the max.
2 versions of the same game, to now come out with a new gameplay under a new game name, moderating the PR in the forums, gahhhh,... anyways, not wanting to bore y'all, but i know alot of gamers who will be interested in future developments here.

Wished i had been involved in this project since the beginning, MW4 is what lighted my passion to do 3D modelling, and i am really happy canucks have the ball in our park..!
