Yes this is another LRM thread, and i understand that you may be getting sick to death of them all, but as a Master Sargent at ARMD and having talked to many of our memeber's in which we number over 300, i felt that we could offer some constructive critisism and hopefully help you with this game that we are all LOVING.

1st: the LRMs as everyone is saying are now unbalanced. they do more damage (at least it feel that way) and games are dominated by LRMs which takes away many tactics and a lot of the fun from the matches.

2nd: The flight path of the LRMs was reverted back to a similar pattern that it was in closed beta, which makes cover (unless it is an overhang) pointless. you can stay snuggled up against a cliff that should protect you from the LRMs and you will still get completely picked apart and destroyed by them.

3rd: im not sure why you took it out, but the lack of feedback when you get hit by missiles is dissappointing. I enjoyed been rattled aroudn when you got hit even if it was painful, it added to the immersion and the feeling that you were there in the cockpit been knocked around.

As i said we love this game and only hope that the product continues to get better and better as we all LOVE the universe and the lore, as well as been able to run around in big stompy mechs
We also appreciate how hard, and how much work you put in and goes into, each and every patch, and hope that these few insights will help you make the game a more fun and enjoyable place for everyone

please everyone who signs this and wishes to post in this topic please be constructive as we do appreciate the work they are doing on the game and want to make this a feel good thread not a hate and rage thread.

Couldn't agree more, almost makes a light mech null and void.

Love the game guys, and before the last patch it was awesome for running tactics. I think you just need to tweak the LRM's slightly and we'll be back to running strategies..

I am sure you guys are on it, as i said, love the game....

Agreed.

Just played 4 lrm dominated rounds. Seems like whoever shoots off the most lrm's wins.

I agree with Zomboyd

If we're gonna have dodgy LRM's, then we should have countermeasures to combat it.

i need the feedback of getting knock by lrm in the cockpit, thats the only way to know how much we're taking damage and how intense the battle is.

really need those >.<!

and all the opinion regarding lrm is totally agreed

While I don't think LRMs are the end-all-and-be-all in a match, they do seem a little to powerful at the moment.

As much as I hate to say it, lrms are op I think OP nailed it that the change in flight path, combined with Artemis (and TAG, I don't know if they stack) has made them too deadly. I played a match where a CAT was git 3 or 4 headshot kills with LRM volleys.

I'll admit that I had removed AMS from my mechs pre-patch, so I didn't have that to help me, but before I didn't need it. Cover and strategic movement were enough. That is no longer the case.

Ditto...

Even with AMS, seems a bit of a rough deal being on the end of it :/

As a member of ARMD I completely agree and support all of the progress you (the developers have made) The implementation of artemis has been less than expected and made some elements of play harder to implement.

Agreed Zomboyd.

As a recon pilot speed was life. Now unless you are under something, You are dead. I love my LRMS but this is removing all tactics from the game.

I love this game and I've seen a lot of changes and defended many things, but sadly this is a step backwards. You have to be given a chance. Please return the previous patch's flight characteristics.
