I just read a bunch of people wanting refunds.. because their TACTICS and groups no longer work since the patch, and they can't play together with only 4 man teams. I am awash and drown in tears.

I'm not sure if I am elated at the prospect of commentary in relation to "You bought a half-finished car on blocks with no test drive,and NOW you're disappointed and making demands, because something seems amiss after you've dragged it home and are working on it." Or if just reading the tears is salty enough for my pallet without saying anything more. Its BETA, you've been guaranteed nothing until there is an official announced product 1.0 launch. Frankly PGI would be stupid to hand back a dime until they had to. They're better than I am, I'm sure refunds are being granted.

Then cry... but if you do... please don't goad the community, we have enough to do. Please at least have the dignity not to appear like a two year old having a tantrum in a library. If you want a refund, and are dissatisfied and ready to just give up, dissipate silently, as silently as you can. If a tantrum is going to happen, try holding your breath for as long as you can.. ask a friend for help (please do not be this dumb).

Or maybe just step away for a little bit, take a break play something else until the next patch. Threatening to leave, to a developer who already has your money and a ton of work ahead, is like trying to coerce the blind with Shakespeare in mime.

There are seriously people crying over the reduction to 4-man groups?

Most people I've been talking to in the FWLM have really welcomed the change, even if it has made it harder to work with a given number of rooms in the TS server (twice as many groups).

Regardless, threatening to leave is about as mature and productive and holding your breath to get what you want, so as far as I'm concerned, those people deserve all the derision and trolling that those threads usually invite.
