No Longer Feels Like I'm In A 'mech

#1) Immersion. It was nice to have that little bit of realism from explosions around the body of the mech jerking the pilot around.
#2) It let me know I was getting hit without having to move my eyes from my target.
Just my 2c.

if you get hit by 150 LRMs it should make it hard for you to do anything. common sense really

Now if you're not observant you won't even notice missiles hitting you till you're already dead.

And the BASE UNDER ATTACK signal bugs out and doesn't show up 20% of the time, and 90% of eveyone ignores it anyway.
Wouldn't be surprised if the missile warning one was buggy too.
And really it needs an audio component, like a loud annoying buzzing tone or whatever like fighter jets have.

I mean yeah all the tools for knowing when missiles hit and when they are fired for the first time are there, but I really don't enjoy being glued to my paper doll. This no feedback thing gives a false impression that you're dying way faster to considerably less damage than you really are.

the funny thing is... if the big red flashing BASE UNDER ATTACK is on your screen AND there are INCOMING MISSLES.... the incoming missles is considerably smaller lol

There is no need for a game, being played for enjoyment, to intentionally induce migraines. A little rocking would be fine, but the screen shaking has been overblown since I joined in closed beta. It doesn't even affect your aim, once you realize that its only purpose at those levels becomes "annoyance factor" which is completely unnecessary.
Cockpit damage effects will be coming eventually, assuming pgi doesn't tank the game before it can get there. I imagine once we have slight screen shaking back in a long with sparks and cockpit explosions/windshield cracking immersion will be perfectly fine without needing to make people physically ill.

+1
They should have just toned down the screen shake, not remove it entirely. FAIL.

Dude if you are getting hit by 150 missiles, you should feel getting hit by 150 missiles, suck it up or don't play
bring back screen shake, it made people play better they were less stupid to just run out into the open.

You've never played hawken, otherwise you wouldn't be saying that. The screen shake gets old real quick and makes it almost unplayable. Wtf are ballistics for if LRM can do it all? you got damage, range, locked on, ease of use and you STILL want camera shake?
I have nothing nice to say to you and I would get banned if I expressed myself. Oh wait, no I wouldn't. Nobody watches these forums legitimately.

There should be screen shake, because right now the only thing telling you you are getting hit by missiles are the red incoming missiles and watching your armor disappear, besides i can understand just a couple of missile not really causing screen shake but if you are getting focused and there are several missile boats firing on you your screen should shake.
