Hell's Ponies Merc Corp has officially ended operations. Any inactive members can send a PM to Zylo for more information.


While closing down Hell's Ponies was a difficult decision I have rejoined my old Corp Eridani Light Pony. ELP is a great group and I encourage anyone looking for a pony group to consider looking at ELP.

Nov 09 - Still looking for more new members.

Hell's Ponies started on Nov 07 and is currently in the building/recruiting phase. This is a totally new merc corp which allows new members many opportunities as command (in game) and leadership (officer) positions that may not be available in other well established merc corps.

There are no established groups within Hell's Ponies. We aren't an existing group that came to MWO from another game, this is a new group starting only for MWO. Any new member has the potential over time to rise as high as the #2 rank within the corp depending on fit for the position, experience, performance and attitude.

If you have the drive to be successful and are willing to help build a new group then check out the Hell's Ponies site and if you like what you see then consider posting an app.

If we can do anything to help you guys out, let us know, also, our TeamSpeak 3 server is open to you and we are happy to make custom channels for you and your members to help out with drops and to use in your recruiting. As an aside, we are a large group, so normally have 40 to 50 on and dropping, though this last patch has cut that down a bit until fixed, so your members will have plenty to drop with and not have to pug.

Thanks for the welcome Fros7bite and Aeron (as well as the thread bumps from replies). Right now it seems most of the work is going to be recruiting new members who are interested in more of a competitive style PONY merc group. It might be a while before we can do any sort of organized drops due to current group system but I would certainly be up for a bit of friendly competition in the future Fros7bite.

Nov, 13 - Hell's Ponies now has a private Teamspeak server (available to members and recruits).

New recruits can get into the action from the start in Hell's Ponies as we are more focused on spending time in the game rather than spending time on the forums.

Sure, we will still talk about ponies and have forum sections for pony topics but it's much more fun to go destroy enemy mechs.

That was my fault actually, I had been cleaning up some of the inactive players in my friends list and accidently had you blocked when I checked after match. That list always seems to move when you try to remove inactive players, I think I had blocked a few others by accident as well... oops...

I'm sure we'll meet again on the battlefield, though I might make sure to get a few shots in before I say hi just so you don't get behind me while I'm typing.

Not an official split really.

I left ELP to start Hell's Ponies but still maintain friendly relations with most ELP members and leaders.

Also, do you have more information on the group that you could share with me? like perhabs how many members you currently have, the range of hours you believe people are online, any information you can share with me would be awesome.
(Personally I tend to play odd hours and normal hours aswell atm, being 23 and having little to do often leaves you in such a situation...)
(Also I hope you dont mind, but I took the liberty of adding you to my friendlist ingame, due to the fact that ponies are awesome.)

I'll shoot you a PM with teamspeak info, can run a few drops with you and explain more about the corp. We're still small having only started 10 days ago, 3 full members who are all active in game + some recruits. With current group sizes limited to 4 this works out good for a small corp looking to expand.

Thanks guys, starting a new group is always difficult and the thread bumps always help.

No, didn't see any devs although with my luck when I crashed out a few times loading into a match it was probably a match with devs. Seemed to have some bad luck with crashes for some reason, usually the game is stable.
