Collsions & Falling Need To Return

I hope they do. mechs walk through one another like they're in different phases of reality. I miss collision damage, falling mechs, and legs taking damage from large drops (like falling into the tunnel on river city)

They will be back when they are fixed. Have a little patience, Rome was not built in a day...

It was taken out because the devs judged that the weird warping around and other bugs was worse than simply not having it at all. The devs are working on putting it back in, but I believe that is still a ways off.

Yes, its completely ridiculous that I have 2-3 lights circling and bumping into me non stop, I cant even shoot them since I can't even see them on my screen.. yet they're bouncing off my legs like noones business.

There is still that stupid warping around objects anyways.

Don't worry, it isn't gone permanently. They said they had to remove it (because, honestly, for light mechs, it was unbearable. ESPECIALLY for the Commando) so they could work on it and then put it back in.

Seeing as how they really fixed the net code and hit boxes up pretty nicely this patch, I think they can do much the same for collisions.

Who knows, if they get it good enough, we'll probably see Death-From-Above finally work right, and might see melee implemented as well at some point.

As long as they fix the warping. When I alpha a downed commando it should explode, not warp 15 yards away.

I miss the collisions, and I am a light pilot.

You had to be very careful and aware of your surroundings. With no falling, I will probably get used to it and start making mistakes that would not be forgiving if I made them with collisions in.

Even if there are no collisions, collision damage is still there.
