Would love the big maps but problem as stated before would be speed capping in games now some times you can run past a team and not see them and cap or have your base capped before you can get some of the team back.
To sort this out they would have to have say 2 cap points that both have to be capped or random spawn place for the base with no map marker to make scouting important for light teams.

A few things I'd like to see included are: complete use of every grid from A1 to T20, and a city map that is as dense as the one seen in the original trailer.

yes! yes! please! I want some serious urban environment combat. ;)

3 or even 4 times the size if they add another lance.

The current maps are fine for arcadey brawl fests, but they need to be at least 4x the current size for strategic play (large MW4 map sizes). The current maps give very little room or time to manoeuvre a team into a good position. There's no point in trying to flank or ambush an organised enemy when there's only two or three viable routes to take and their scouts have spotted you within 30 seconds. Also, scouts rarely even have time to ID the enemy loadouts before the main forces engage unless both sides camp, leaving no time to reposition accordingly. Obviously this would require new game modes, having bases to defend leaves few strategic options.

Been saying we need larger maps since beta, it's like a boxing ring at the moment 3,2,1 then 10 seconds later all hell breaks loose.

We need much larger maps and more importantly we need more than 8 v 8 I mean come on, 8 v 8 is pathetic considering the tech we have now for PC and server speeds.

I think the current sizes are good for this game-mode, even now you sometimes see teams passing eachother entirely and matches ending without combat.

I would like larger maps, but there need to be game-modes with multiple objectives and such to go with.

I want a variety. Part of why you see so much boating is because all the current maps are similar enough to favor specific weapons, so people load up on those. If some maps are big with almost no cover and some are small urban locales it would help encourage a varied loadout as you never know where you'll drop next.

Yep, (some) maps have to be one-sided to counter one-sided loadouts. It may sound odd, but that's the way it is. If every map provides different routes, it's easy to min-max and just take the route that suits your setup. If a map is pretty straightforward, though, your min-maxing boat might fall flat on it's face for being ill-suited.

Multiple objectives would also be great, I agree.
