I've read that the RS can mount four PPCs, and while I would really like to try that I also really want double AMS. So, can anyone with an AS7K tell me how many ERPPCs can be mounted in it. Cheers.

The other two are in CT, 2 hardpoints and 2 crit slots so 2xML/MPL at most.

Don't buy K2. Not as good as LRM boat than other Atlases with more missile hardpoints and brawling with an Atlas is just plain stupid. 9 out of 10 matches you'll end up spending more on fixing that **** that you earned. I actually bought an 7K with MC but it was so ridiculously expensive to run and I sold it for CB

Me disagree.
Me main a brawler Atlas & gain monies 9 out of 10 times. (Me would have to lose both arms, side torsos, leg and lose the match to go into the negative.)
How else could me have afforded two customized Atlases & the savings for the 3rd one?

mounting 4 er ppc's is hotter than anything in the game can run, don't bother, unless you enjoy overheating and letting people headshot you

atlases are some of the most versatile mechs out there. brawling is one of the most popular uses. cram mlas into the energy, srm6s into the missile, and some big ballistic(s) in those - i've seen dual ac5's, ac5/uac5, ac10, ac20, gauss, etc

you can missile boat with them, but if you're going to, the -D is probably the best; the RS and the D-DC tend to stream a large volley into many smaller ones, especially the RS. but LRMs are only good for killing newbs; now that their trajectory isn't crazy anymore, anyone with half a brain can dodge them. still useful for area denial i suppose

then there's the sniper atlases, more along what OP seems to want. PPCs just aren't worth it right now. try large lasers instead. and/or gauss

even without premium bonus you can make money with all of these atlases. avoid xl engines, take advantage of the free 75% ammo, and don't use es/ff

Nope. Only AS7-RS can.

If you want to run 4 ER PPCs on it, you have to acquire the DHS upgrade.

PS: However, PPCs are at least still viable as usual, p00k. Because the PPCs are almost 'untouched' by the devs in many patches.
