I feel quite confident in the devs abilities to successfully succeed! Besides, I think they have made it a point to listen to the community and really get involved in the forums to see what it is that we want in the game. Not to say that any single whim is expected to be implemented, but for those with practical input and pertinent reasoning for balance, or just overall betterment of the game.

As it is said, the Mechlab is deeply profound and complex. But there are templates and models from previous games, from which they may adjust and tweak until it seems balanced and fair. And, come on guys, you know the devs lose sleep at night wondering what sort of expectations their community will demand next!

I like this "just shut up and wait". Battletech fans are some of the worse speculators and in your face fans about following the lore and rules.


So yeah, just tell me when I can start throwing money.

It's pinpoint accurate on your thirst!" good times....

Thanks for the pep talk. This is why when Mechlab Q&A started to take questions, the only one I had was "When".

All good to know. I'd think you're compiling our forum babble you don't want us to shut up entirely but I'm definitely one of the people not really interested in judging a product I don't have and know what he means. It's pointless. I have thoughts on what I've heard but it is hard to tell how it all plays out from where I'm at... you know... not playing the game... The Centurion in yet?

Then I'll do a monkey dance and answer any questions you guys have at that point. Some of it real.... some of it...well... you know me. :D

In other words, its a big part of the game which is not finished yet and we wont get to see it in its full glory until open beta. Fair enough.
