well with enough high percentage alcohol everything "tastes". (luckily tastes are different but for me its like toxic waste dissoluted in alcohol...) I envy enveryone who drinks it and can honestly say it tastes well.

But I guess as the Umlaut-dots are missing you can pronounce it any way you like.

In a military context "Jäger" were a type of light infantry, so they were used as scouts, skirmishers or snipers. Nowadays there are still units which use Jäger as suffix such as the Gebirgsjäger (mountain warfare infantry), Feldjäger (military police) or Fallschirmjäger (airborne infantry).

There are still pure Jäger units in German military today. They are elite light infantery similar to US Army Rangers.

The origin is nordic (Mjølnir) and correct pronounciation isn't as plain as it may seem at first. Same deal as with the Jag. But it's easier to spell, so I guess it's up to you.

I know Jaeger has a variety of meanings in German, another being a group of rifle armed infantry, which fits this mech pretty well.
Rifle armed infantry.....Rifle...men........"Rifleman" it probably the closest we'll get to that unseen mech

Thor's hammer Mjollnir is pronounced me-yo-lneer with the first two sylables pressed together. In fact it's pronounced exactly the same way as the J in jagermech XD

it is relavent to know how to correctly pronounce the names, seeing as how we're just as likely to get all aggrivated when someone mispronounces a mech with a simple english name (americans certainly aren't the only ones going to be playing this game) if you choose to pronounce it incorrectly that's on you. Just don't then take umbrage if someone mispronounces a different mech name that you happen to like.

Yeah but there's a twist. The letter 'o' in this case. Same as with the 'a' in Jagermech.
I'm curious if we got japanese names in here as well and how to pronounce them correctly

P.S. As for pronounciation or spelling, I guess I'm biased. Call it Timberwolf or Mad Cat, Jagermech or Jägermech, Mjolnir or Mjølnir, etc.

I can roll with any of these. Not a big deal actually. Even the abbreviations. It's all good in my book

Wow, my whole life I've been saying it wrong.I've been calling it Mick JaggerMech. It's going to be hard getting used to saying Yay-grr-mech.

I foresee many a nights now of people arguing over coms how to say this mech's name. grrr.
