First mech was the Chameleon. It was your "training mech" in the first mission in the table top days.

Well I started with the TT game and it was the original with the 12 Unseen, from memory my first mech was a Maurader (I was the coolest looking mech out of the original box) and I kill a Warhammer on the second turn with a critical hit to the centre torso MG Ammo.

However my "first love" in mech terms was the Enforcer I used in my first mechwarrior game, it was called Reason, as in "you can't argue with Reason"

I have gone back to the enforcer time and time again, and I eagerly await it's release in MW:O

My first TT experience was with a Phoenix Hawk and a Hunchback. I remember my friend being an asshat by putting 2 Atlases on the table when we were deciding on forces and specified 2 mechs per side.

My first table top Mech was a unseen Rifleman, just kick but looking. That and the Muarder.

But I still have so many more to chose from. http://www.flicker.c...ker/4925052690/

If this link works youll see a picture of all of my Tabletop Battlemechs, except this one.

My start into the BattleTech universe was the Mechwarrior 2 demo for MS Dos back in 1995. Long time before i knew about tabletop, novels etc. You were able to pilot a Timber Wolf in the demo. The first mech i've ever pilot was Timber Wolf.

My first PnP mech was a Nova, the guy teaching me insisted on this one to teach about heat management.

A Warhammer. I didn't even get off the dropships ramp. I took two gauss slugs from twodifferent Yellowjackets in the torso that critted the MG ammo.

Now that I think about it, I think that mini was cursed.... whoever used it always died of Ammo explosion/headshot within the first two turns....

The first Battlemech?
As a tin figure it was a Victor, second was a Grasshopper and third a Withworth. That was in the 90ies of last century... oh my god... i am old now!?

The first officially assigned Mechforce Mech was a, sigh..., Jagermech..., sigh,...

Stock 3025 Hunchback. won my first ever TT game with it. A prize tourney at a convention. Had never played before. I was totally hooked at that point.

Griffin with an I not an O.

Nice LR sniping mech with enough speed to avoid heavier mech's.

3025 era TDR-5S Thunderbolt. With battle damage (overheating large laser among other things). Me and a friend played a scenario from issue #3 of Battletechnology magazine where a Thunderbolt faced off against a Marauder on Scheat IV. Pretty much made the Thunderbolt my favourite Heavy mech. Still love the Phoenix Hawk more though. :D

While my first 'mech was the Mad Cat, I found my true calling in the Mad Cat III.

The Spider was the first mech I piloted.

My favourite mech to pilot was the Crusader. Damn I loved that thing.

Since I started with Crescent Hawks Inception, I started with the amazing Wasp.

You can't get much worse. Marginally more survivability and firepower than a single elemental!

It's like the Periphery off-brand model on par with those terrible Wii clones pumped out from China.

The poor thing looks like a cross between sad and adorable, like a scruffy cartoon mouse that's missing half it's hair.

EDIT: To be fair the TRO art looks way better but I think that came way, way later after this mini.

I toally forgot about Jason Youngblood's Chameleon! that was sweet trying to kill all those Jenners (and failing every time). I would have much prefered to have his father's Phoenix Hawk LAM though!
