Welp, that's the trick of the whole situation, now isn't it? No one knows what's going to happen, at this point it's all speculation. So, feel free to speculate away.

Common ideas:

• Closed Beta announcement
  
• Unseen mech (or 2) is (are) announced to be in
  
• Winners of the mech showdown poll announced to be in
  
• More concrete details on the mechlab
  
• Urbanmech

Also possible is any combination of the above, really. Or even something completely different. We have no idea.

For very very sure, will be BETA date, this guys, are smart, and with Diablo3 falling apart, torchlight 2 rising, guild wars 2 beta week coming, and lineage eternal on horizon, and ofc i cant forget the HUGE FAIL in mass effect 3, now is the proper time to get ppl playng this absurd good game, they know this is a addictive game, and a beta launch will steal souls, and now its the time, even if we will play 1 map, and 4 pre-made mechs this is the time, to punch in the face of the game industry, and take what this team deserv.

I hope its going to be closed beta plus mech, we need someone from comunity to see how its going. This forum need more info about game
most of threads are pure speculations(i cant say i dont enjoy them) but we could use some real thing.

I'm guessing an aspect of gameplay they haven't told us about yet, and hoping for a Spider (I know, I know.. just let me dream ok). The Crab or Dervish are other possiblities. Hopefully an announcemnt about a Beta date will be coming shortly, they HAVE been really busy lately.

I think it will be a 'mech we've all been wanting to see make it into this so badly and the devs are adding it in because it fits in with the lore and has functional gameplay. That, or it will be an in-depth thread about what the devs had for lunch that day and the nutritional facts of everything they ate.

I love how the Urbanmech keeps coming up as it's own thing. Unseen, Poll mechs, etc all cool, but the Urbie all by itself in the list. I love it.

Does that make the Urbanmech the Hetzer of MWO? Urbies gonna Urb? Or some such.

Wednesday Surprise = Beta footage of a Warhammer outfitted with modules and other equipment destroying a Raven while an UrbanMech creeps up from behind.

Now that I read that, it'll probably be the winners of the 'mech showdown poll... for the devs won't know what we'd have picked till today.

I'd prefer closed beta, but I think they already know who they want for that, so it's not exactly a "something they don't know" thing.

Whaddya mean, Diablo 3 falling apart? The reception to the open beta was quite positive, and personally having played it... it seems pretty solid. I'm planning on splitting my time between these two releases...

Diablo 3 is awesome at least from my little time playing the beta to completion. Definitely throws me back to Diablo 2 and the late nights playing when not playing MW4.

Slight Derailment: Opinions vary greatly on D3. Lots of people in beta liked where SW:ToR was going. Lots of them didn't listen to us about changes that were released in the last 2 builds prior to launch. See Backlash now.

The announcement of the poll winning is surprising? C'mon. That'd be the lamest wednesday reveal ever since we can see the poll right now.

I'm hoping for open beta date or announcement of closed beta + another mech.
