Lets analyze your post Groundhouse...shall we?
Having not played what sounds like Combat Arms with mech-like figures, I cannot vouch for anything you say about it, however...(My comments from here on in are in italics)

Hawken:
1.Fast Fun (short waiting time after Dead)
2.Beginner Friendly
3.More Maps (small but better Designed)
4.More Gameplay-Styles
5.More Customizations,weapons,etc..
6.Cool Atmosphere (Sounds,Design,etc..)
7.No Bugs (found) & its Closed Beta.

I have played and invested in MWO.

MWO:
1.No Fast Fun (waste of Lifetime waiting for next Match after Dead)
This is what happens when you Rambo PUG. Take your time and don't blow your load all at once. Skill and tactics is the name of this game. Likwise, get out of the Atlas and get into something smaller and quicker. 100 tons does not equal win, especially for the unskilled. I have destroyed many Atlases with my trusty hunchback.
1.Beginners unfriendly
Only seen this since they went to open beta and let irrelovently critical ADHD sufferers play.
2.Heavy Control
By this I can only imagine you mean no instant stops and starts but rather having to think ahead a second or two at least in order to redirect your mech. I call this realistic physics, you call it heavy control...
3.Only 4 Maps (to small & no Atmo & good Design)
I don't agree or understand. Snow map has several terrain changes that I feel this is a new map in itself.
4.Only 1 Gameplay-Style (capture the Base).
Actually two-in-one. Team deathmatch is there. You do not have to capture the base. Unskilled or unarmed pilots default to capture the base when they cannot kill anything.
5.Grind like Hell (without Money)
For $15 you can have a medium mech. However, if you see 100 tons = Win, then too bad for you on several levels. Not a bad deal I don't think. Or use any of the available light, medium or heavy trial mechs to get cash.
6.Bugs like a Alphaversion (Crash to Destop,Loadout Bugs,Grafikbugs in Spectator,etc..).
...I think you have some spelling bugs. Comparing programming errors from one game to another is like comparing apples to your mother's bra size. It makes no sense, and unless that's your thing, you just don't want to know what is going on underneath there. Err...that is the code behind the game.
7.Pay To Win Game
Funny, with the narrow skill paths and diverse weights in the trial mechs, it seems to me that anyone can log on to MWO, get in an atlas (if that is your thing) and make some money. Next match, he or she can get into a cicada and harass the other team's support, and next support front line offense with a barrage of LRM's. When you finally get a good amount to buy your first mech, you can use your C-bills you get from playing, assuming you have learned not to Rambo PUG, and outfit your mech however you see fit just like anyone who paid money with no special attention given to those with cash invested. This doesn't seem like a bad deal for nothing, whilst many are complaining about the a game that many of us paid hard money to support.

But Hey..the Mechs looks cool
As they have for many, many years as this franchise has developed.

HAWKEN = Call of Duty with Mechs
MWO = Good looking Mechs only
Since you have correctly identified yourself as an ADHD, Rambo PUG, instantaneous gratification seeking styled player. I rest my case...

hawken is good. its for those who prefer call of duty style gameplay..dead, respawn, dead, respawn.
mwo is good. its for those who prefer more slower paced and tactical gameplay.

each game to its own

Hawken is failing, and they want MWO to fail so they can take the niche "Robot PC game" market share, hence all these troll threads of complaints and comparisons saying hawken is better.

I actually wondered about this when I saw how amazingly low their player counts have been. Honestly I was really surprised; the internal matchmaker has actually failed to find an active server if I put tight restrictions on it, I honestly hope it doesn't fail because despite it's not being as good as mechwarrior(for me) it is fun when you just want fast FPS pew pew.

didnt like the mech designs at all in Hawken, nor the strafe gameplay. I'd rather play Tribes than Hawken, and MWO blows Hawken away imho.

However, the Hawken mechlab is visually very cool, and I hope PGI brings that kind of life to our mechlab. I'd love to see techs fixing mechs after battles, etc....if nothing else being present in the lab.

the biggest difference is the developers. Hawken being in Beta is still in beta, they have not charged anyone any money to test its game and so far, their bug hunt is pretty good. I have not experience bugs which are crippling .

MWO , well..is already charging to play and the bugs keep coming in . lets face it, PGI is a bunch of amateurs compared to the Hawken dev team and it shows. The Hawken gameplay is better polished, better touches etc

Apples to oranges. Quake III Arena to Rainbow Six. They just cannot be compared in any meaningful way, really. They both are FPS games that involve bipedal machines piloted by humans, That's where the comparison ends. That said, I really really want to play Hawken. ;P

So i played few matches in Hawken today and I don't think i'm gonna stick with it anymore. Why?

1. Mechs are small, they're moving like humans or animals, you can't even feel you're driving a real mech.
2. Maps are small too. For me they are too small.
3. Damage taken by other mechs is too big. Excuse me but mech is a war machine that could handle few round of rockets or few series or lasers in Hawken i can destroy an enemy mech with 2 or 3 shots from something that reminds me gauss rifle from mechwarrior.
4. Mechs looks pretty weird (too organic?)... I don't know maybe i've played too much games based on BattleTech, where mechs are big, hard to drive and they can get a lot of enemy damage before they "die".
5. Game reminds me more of UT or CS but instead of humans we have "big" robots.

I know i shouldn't compare it to Mechwarrior, because Hawken is nothing more than a simple fast FPS game, but please, they should do it more realistic.

Things i liked in Hawken:

1. You can choose game mode and map from the server list.
2. If you will walk close the wall you'll hear metal scratching (it's awesome and they shoul've put it to mechwarrior)
3. Maps and mechs design is great, so futuristic (but as I said earlier i don't really like the look of mechs in Hwkn)
4. Even if it's only closed beta game looks polished.

I'm sorry for my bad spelling, i'm from Poland <_<

it's not the "one game is nothing like what it should be like this game is" argument that will make or break either mechwarrior or hawken. what's going to matter is will the game/s be more stisfying to play to the majority of cash spending gamers. we'll have to wait and see ;)

So I just got into Hawken. So far it reminds me of Diablo 3. As in, I can't connect or stay connected for more that 5 minutes. May as well say "error 37" haha.

So I'm playing MWO ;)

MWO could use the terrible problem of too many people wanting to play it at once.

The thing with hawken is that it's NOT A MECH GAME. I really wish people would quit comparing it with MWO. It's just a FPS game with robot skins. You get 2 weapons, not 3-9 like in mwo. There is no location based damage, you can't destroy other people's arms/legs/weapons etc.

I see robots; they're shooting at each other.

Now, the hardcore MW fanboy is going to brush that off and repeat the "They have nothing in common" line. But that's a very naive position to take.

There is a core audience of this game that has no interest in Hawken. I'm trying it out, but in the end ... I'm most likely one of those. However, that core audience can't support this game financially.

At the same time, I guarantee you that if you drew a venn diagram of current players for both games, there's overlap.

The "casual" customer, that PGI so desperately wants, is not attached to the BattleTech IP. They don't care about iconic mechs or how much heat a gauss rifle produces. They just want to stomp around in robots and shoot other robots. Whichever game gives them the best experience is where they're going to spend their time.

Right now, quality wise ... I have news for you. Play this, then go play Hawken. One is a buggy, incomplete, alpha-quality piece of software ... and the other one feels like a complete game.

I played it, wasn't impressed. It's just a run of the mill FPS with nothing that really stands out about it

I hope Hawken takes all the impatient cry babies out of MWO.
IMO, if you want fast paced futuristic shooter, forget Hawken and go play Blacklight Retribution. Far better.

In all honesty. You could have done better Edison Chen.

Understandably you had to jump on the trend while it was still in the news. But not every thread is destined for greatness.

Perhaps when you take some time off, and then you come back, you could become the next Vassago Rain.

Until then, I hear IGP is hiring.

I think Call of Duty stinks though. Absurdly stupid series of games. Popular though, because they cater to the lowest common denominator of players.
