As Battalion Commander of the 10th Skye Rangers, I encourage those seeking a dynamic home offering competitive tournament play as well as a relaxed hangout for friends. The lax chilling suddenly shifts gears into a comms disciplined, tactical experience during one of the many scheduled practice nights weekly, or tournament games. Senior drop commanders will join a group of new players and actively train them upon our expectations as well as get to know each pilot. We are always seeking to grow skills and find talent, while respecting new players and growing them.
As passionate CW players we are eagerly awaiting CW3. We continue to offer a great CW experience while dropping with the Skye Rangers of Terra.
We have several in-house tournaments to compete in. Usually implemented when CW is slow or an imbalance in the game's meta make pub drops less fun than usual. There is a semi-annual Skye Cup (inter regimental tournament) that grants the victor the cup to display proudly in their regiment's section of the main SR website (www.Skye-Rangers.net).
There are medals dolled out for various in-game accomplishments. This really satisfies those gamers that love collecting achievements as your website avatar displays your acquired medals prominently.
Long story short. I have been a ranger for almost three years, and have never found a reason to play with anyone else.
From a small little Cicada pilot Private, to a highly decorated Stompin Atlas D-DC Battalion Commander surrounded by a bunch of friends, it has been a hell of a ride.

What are your usual online times for CW? Do you also have players form EU in your ranks?

Wazabey, The Skye Rangers have seven line regiments (including one EU regiment) a competitive regiment and a casual regiment. The 25th Skye Rangers is our dedicated EU unit and they are most active during afternoon/evening EU hours. Because our EU unit is mixed the primary TS language is English, but we have German, Polish, Finnish, Swedish, Danish, French, Italian and UK members.
This equates to us having groups of people online "usually" from about 3:00 PM EST to 3:00 AM EST and then smaller numbers of people at other times. We usually will run an ad-hoc CW group nightly and different Regiments have dedicated CW nights. You can often find a CW 12 man (or two or three) running from Thursday-Sunday during prime time North America hours.
