While the game is fun to play, it's not quite stable. Since you do no longer get any additonal credits / XP when you disconnect while still being "alive". You still have to pay for any damage to the Mech.

Since Disconnects are still quite common, please no longer bill people for Damage the Mech received after they disconnect.

To prevent abuse you should bill for any damage received within 20 seconds of the disconnect. Though if the Mech gets destroyed during that time, also award the full Match payouts.

The way they have it setup at the moment is just fine in my opinion.

I personally refer to the "disconnect at spawn by the game or wonky mechlab bug and receiving a 100k Repair Bill for no gains" Problem. What exactly is wrong with not having to pay any repair bill if the game goes wonky on you at the start of the match?

Ah but this could be too easily abused. Oh I am losing, disconnect so I have no repair bill.

I do understand that losing connection (which happens abit too often in as you drop or during game) is painful and frankly very irratating.

The game designers are always improving code so hopefully most of the problem will get fixed.

Removing the pilotless mechs from the matches is starting to look like something PGI can't accomplish.

Oh it's by design you say.

Here's to another poorly thought out game mechanic.

Thats why i suggested still accounting for damage received withing 20 seconds of the disconnect, this would allow the opposing team to still get the kill, while not punishing unintentional disconnects.
