Don't know what he's using, but it may not be the system specs. Did you turn off the film grain? Are you recording in 1080p? are you rendering in 1080p? What program are you using to record? Also, some maps appear 'dingier' looking compared to others. Like there's dust in the atmosphere...

i play on 16:10 1680-1050. If u dont play in 16:9 you have some problems to get good quality on youtube. On my PC it looks much better
I use fraps, Avidemux and sony movie studio. you have to force aspect ratio to get a HD video on youtube without black bars. So the quality dropps if u encode.
It is much easier if you record a video in full HD.
btw i like it clean without all the fancy stuff
