And in this spirit, here is the video I did last year with my Spittin' Spider 5K, on a high-speed tour of the maps in place at the end of last year, dropping to the beats of Evac Protocol's track The Gingerbread Man.

Fellow video enthusiasts:

In honor of March's new maps and the inaugural pair of Legendary mechs, I have composed a new pair of Mechwarrior Dubstep Rock Operas in celebration of the developers' accomplishments.

The first video is in the Free Worlds Coliseum, the iconic hue of which inspired me to seek out a playlist of tracks titled in the color.

So.... come to the outskirts of the PURPLE CITY,
grab a drink at the PURPLE SALOON,
and under a PURPLE STAR
gaze with PURPLE EYES
through the PURPLE GLITTER of blast sparks
as one after another PURPLE MONSTR
takes its position on a PURPLE PYRAMIDE,
and levels its rounds of PURPLE STUFF
until the enemy turns DARKER SHADES OF PURPLE.

Comrades, I give you..... PURPLE DROPS!

Part 2 of the Mechwarrior Dubstep Rock Opera celebration of the new maps comes, of course, on the new Terra Therma map.

The playlist for this round in March's Event Queue is therefore, of course, composed using tracks titled to Lava & Magma.
