So, I have what I would consider a fairly good graphics card, I can run BF3 without any issue and I get 30+ FPS most of the time. However, I've come to find out that on MW:O even on the lowest graphic settings, I still only have around 15-20 FPS on most maps (10-15 on Frozen City)

What I am trying to figure out is if this is an issue on my end (which I kind of doubt considering how well my PC excels at preforming on similar games) Or if it is an optimization issue with the client itself. Now I understand that the game is still in beta and a lot of kinks have to be worked out. That's why this post isn't really complaining about this issue (at least that is if it is going to be improved in the future) but rather the reason I am making this post is because I'd like to ask the community about the graphics of the game client.

So if you are having similar FPS issues with the game client, or if you did have them and found a way to improve them then please by all means post a reply to this topic. I'd love to get feedback on this matter.

I have exactly the same problem on two different computers, even the menu screen only gets about 20 FPS. I have two good computers, but I have to run MWO on the lowest resolution and graphic settings just to get 15 - 20 FPS during the game (the game still looks great by the way).
It has gotten better with some of the patches, it used to be less than 12 FPS! ;)
I have high hopes that it will continue to get better.

I typically have around 60 fps when I play, but sometimes a map will load where I start getting 9 fps or lower--making it completely unplayable. The only way to fix it is to close the game down and start it up again.

My point is that they are still making a lot of changes to the game, and that it isn't necessarily your computer.

My FPS dropped visibly since the last patch / hotfix.

Until then it was running very smooth, even when streaming.

My FPS has dropped dramatically too in the last bit. I am just looking forward to DX11, as when that hits my card is optimized, rather than trying to remember how to do DX9. Either way I look forward to the performance increase when that happens.

Alright I'm glad to see it's not just me. The game does look amazing despite the poor FPS issues which I am sure will get fixed. I understand how hard it can be to properly optimize an open world game like MW:O, well...I guess it's not quite open world, but the maps are quite large. I will defiantly fill out those polls in hopes to see them improve this game, I would like to see just how far they can take it.

I usually run about 50+ FPS, but several times a game randomly I will drop to under 10+. Every so often that drop last the rest of the game and I need to restart the client. Usually when its prolonged it is the opposite, under 10 FPS, with the occasional 50+.

I've been in game both closed and open beta now for i guess 2 and a 1/2 to 3 months. When i first started in closed, i was getting about 30 or so FPS on highest graphic settings. I would say about the last 6 weeks I'm running the game on lowest graphic setting and getting 10 to 15 FPS per game. It's become quite rough. I'm not happy to see many of you experiencing the same thing, but glad to know that I'm not the only one.

I appreciate you all sharing and knowing that I'm not alone out there in MWO.
