Done with this BS until they fix server side issues.

I have 5 gaming stations in my house. At no time whatsoever, have any stations had a problem in any other game. In a family the size of mine, connection issues would be apparent in other games...at other stations.

I've tried...god knows I've tried. Thanks to my friends for putting up with my Lag/DC issues, but I KNOW it is NOT my computer's fault,,,I know this because, I have MANY other computers in my house that suffer from this issue in MWO, and ONLY MWO. I would estimate, that I have been DC'd at least 50-100 times this weekend...ridiculous. (and that's NOT an exageration!)

This is ABSOLUTE B!#$CRaPP!!!

Why not test? Report your findings and help the company out instead of flipping them off and leaving them with nothing? It's free to play, it's a privilege for you to test the game out? Why are you treating it like a demo, or something that you're being forced to play?

I suggest then exercising patience as they are subject to the same concept of time as we are.

Implying that posting on here does absolutely nothing but clutter of the forums?
Implying that submitting a support ticket is how you help test?
Implying that the devs are more than likely working on it?
Implying that a rant thread just isn't very productive?

Point taken, just ranting on a frustrating weekend of trying to play is all.

It's strange though, of all the problems I've had with this game, I've never had this specific problem before. As this issue did not coincide with a patching cycle, I have to believe it's a server load issue....that's a GOOD thing in my book, as it means more people are logged on to the game.

I think there are issues going on currently to be honest. The forums have periodically kicked me off and been slow to load here and there. We also have massive storm cells moving through the US at the moment which might have some affect on this
Trust me I know how easy it is to just rant on the forums lol
I'd just keep trucking and keep submitting the tickets sir.

Sounds like you could host some epic LAN parties. On a more related note, I've gotten some DC's too, but it's actually gotten better for me of late, and I'm in the same area of the country as you. Maybe call up your ISP and make sure they're not blocking MWO's servers? Do you have any firewalls setup on your network that might have gone AWOL?

I have been playing this game since closed beta started (I'm first wave) and I have had fewer than 30 DC's, barring a patch in august which left me with a black screen glitch (couldn't launch into any games) for a week. Sounds like you are having connection issues or something else is wrong.

Yeah, I miss those LAN party days,...Quite a few people in my neighborhood loved me hosting them..alas, those days are gone but if my ISP was getting aN@l then I'd think it would show inthe 4 other games my household is invested in, and not just MWO.

Can't say I have issues with their servers. No lag here and rarely a DC.

i have got to say don't assume the issue is not on your end
games a fickle beasts at best and due to the nature of pc gaming every body's setup is different

my wife and i have identical machine (i built them) yet she gets these weird problems that i don't and i get issues she never sees

i also have a mate who was having huge problems with BF3
every other game he had worked wonders , even BF3 ran with out issues for the first few months
then one day he got kicked from a server, then he couldn't rejoin it
so he tried a new one and it worked, so we all played on there until he got kicked again
and then again he couldn't join the server he got kicked from
problem went on for months with us searching high and low for a fix
nobody else online had either had or reported this issue and no fixes could be found
in the end we disabled the firewall inside his router and that fixed it

but why would it work perfect for 3-4 months and the go crazy

so yeah long story but dont think that the problem is only on their end just because everything else works fine

Stop trolling and tell the truth you have 5-10 computers on god knows how many routers and there all conflicting and kicking you off. First thing I would suggest is try one computer on a direct line to your modem cable/dsl/whatever. If you don't get disconnect then it is all your routers conflicting.

It's fair to say, that I've had 'some' technical ddifficulties' with the game, but supoort has been excellent. For the past 3 months however, I have NOT had the connectivity issues I've had this weekend, Sucks to be me for sure, and I'm not sure that the problem is not on my end, but I just had to vent to relieve some weekend stress...was really hoping to play and have some fun

Oh, an educated poster! sweet! I've done a full household re-boot (only happens monthly usually) and replaced the primary router with a known good spare, with only a primary MWO computer running after the main server. All other household computers 'off' as to eleminate potential router cross-traffic issues. I have also tried this with a dedicated switch off the main server.

Trust me, my set-up is far beyond your comprehension, but I have simplified it to the barebones minimum to eliminate issues on my end. You cannot begin to comprehend viable suggestions to this nerds' setup
