This.

Also, you will see a lot of people with sigs that promote their group, if they have a hyper link in them, as mine does, use that as it will take you to their site and you can check them out there. Or try looking for them on your search engine.

Read the posts of the Mercs themselves. If you like what they say on the forum you will likely like them in Chat. It's a big part of why I joined Murphy's. They were saying what I was thinking. I made a great choice.

I used to play clan back in NBT (goliath scorpion) and it was a lot of fun. never played an IS house before but this could be fun too. I was getting kinda bored back in the day always using clan mechs and I would very often be seen running around in a hunchy instead lol. might give the houses a go :P

All the merc corps have websites with information about their recruiting process, TS3 address, et cetera. I've been playing with Death's Hand Brigade for a couple of weeks and I highly recommend checking them out. They're well organized, have lots of very skilled pilots, and are low on drama/bs.

Personally I recommend to most gamers to join a house or Corp in MWO (and no not necessarily mine). Its better than slugging it out alone, can give you assistance in creating builds that work with you playing style, and lastly companions to game with to alleviate the long tedious hours of grinding to get C-bills. Take a look here http://mwomercs.com/...orp-recruiting/ for some Merc Corps and here http://mwomercs.com/...6-faction-talk/ for possible houses to join. Good luck and look forward to seeing you on the battlefield.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO JOIN ANY HOUSE OR CLAN OR MECRCORP OR ANYTHING AT ALL ATM.
You can just join on public TS and then see who you like.
Right now its just people with tags, so you have plenty of time.

Some help on how to get playing with groups.

Everybody help with fits and what to do, there is one great community.
But once recruiters get a scent...... :P
