I get to torture my wife as I moved the computer into the bed room recently.

Pay back for the shopping bit you wrote about, that I have to suffer through too oftenly =P

My wife is a sexy gamer. My daughter plays BattleTech (or "Dakka Dakka Pew Pew") with me. I work the night shift. Guess I'm lucky... I can spend as much time as I want overnight with little worries.

Although, married life does limit me to "Lone Wolf" which is pretty ironic.

:P

Why does it limit you to Lone Wolf? Why can't your wife and you join the same Corp? Or even better, fight on opposing sides of a border?

My girl is already threatening to break-up with me if this game takes over my time. I told her okay sweetie. I think she takes this as i won't get addicted to the game. What it really meant was okay so in a couple months i am single again. SHHHH nobody tell her that!!!!! Its a surprise.

I still remember the day, in the middle of an NBT match, when my fiance put the engagment ring on the desk next me, and walked off. My Clan on comms went ballastic. However, I wasn't just filling in, we had two more battles left for that day. I got at least 5 kills between them, no deaths. Good times. Nothing like panic to tighten the senses.

Oh, I married her anyway. We ended up having to work out a schedule for my gaming! She plays TT BT now, its her favorite. What she doesn't know is I've secretly been building my own in house clan using her womb! Once my star is complete, it shall be I who tosses her into space!!!

Ah, who am I kiddin' I love her. She beat me at the Mech pods. (on NHUA tho) Got to love a girl like that.

Does she happen to have any single sisters? My ex fiance never understood my addiction to BT or MW... my current GF barely comprehends it... I'll probably be single by the time open beta rolls out for us addicts

I was just wondering , when this game goes live all those players who stop working at their jobs, many employers who forget to hire , because they to are playing ect ect...........this could be considered the great Canadian threat to the world Economy ?

a great depression caused by a Game? and think of the social chaos that will rage across the globe ?

??????

you really are going to get an express to Valhalla? My girlfriend has been seemingly not upset by the upcoming release, then again I'm not sure it has fully hit her what the release means...

My wife has already stated that, if and when she takes a break from Secret World, she will be more than happy to strap on a Hunchback(Her favored MW4 Mount) and blow myself and any other naysayers that think women can't pilot Mechs into little flaming bits of "I told you so."

God I love that woman

Aha, OP's letter makes me wish I was married so I could plagiarize it & see the look on my non-existent wife's face!

Maybe a quick visit to Vegas is in order

Good stuff in this thread, thanks for the laughs.

Guess I'm lucky that I'm self employed and my wife is a big Mechwarrior fan as well...
