Gday MWO,
I have been noticing a fair bit lately as im playing with my video settings a lot more that i can run around on almost every map with 55-60fps and everything is pretty and shiney...
But WHENEVER i turn towards a player-mech, my fps CRASHES to 25-35fps.
Doesnt matter if they are team-mates or opponants or even if they are behind buildings/terrain or if it is a single mech or +8. When ever a mech comes into 'view' (can be seen, targetable, registers on HUD even if you cant target or see directly), FPS just nose-dives.
I turn slightly untill no mechs are 'on-screen' - POP... 55fps again.
Turn back so 1 mech is 'on-screen'/registerable - BOOM... 35fps.
Anyone know whats going on here?
Is this a latency-effecting-my-fps thing (Australia = 300ms) or a engine problem?
