I use a Logitech G500 gaming mouse and the Logitech mouse driver software, SetPoint, doesn't allow me to remap the mouse wheel upward/downward scroll. I am curious as to what people are using if not their official driver software that allows them to adjust mouse DPI, binds, macros, etc.

Mouse Driver Software For Sensitivity Settings, Button Remapping, Macros, Etc?

It used to be possible to map scrollwheel up/down, but a MWO patch back in.. august, broke it and they haven't fixed it since.
You have plenty of buttons on the mouse right? That's what they are there for, to do special stuff. Use them instead.
But it is extremely annoying that you cant bind the scroll wheel to anything in the game, i actually stopped playing for a while and waited for PGI to hot fix it. But I had to give up the waiting...

Slightly related question, not worth it's own thread - macros for my Sidewinder X4 don't work either. They just don't register, I tried creating a simple macro that just presses W-button but it does nothing when I press the macro key. Any idea what's causing that?

I'm using a Razor Naga. I don't think I can remap the mouse wheel, then again I have it as my Alpha strike button. Set it to that in th MWO lab menu. There is no sensitivity settings in game but my Razor has a pretty good adjustment control.
