I'm not sure if this applies for anyone with ATI/AMD.

Since hotfix patch (Nov.8th), I was unable to play because my PC would freezes up soon as I start the match. Mechlab would work fine without a problem.

I have ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 (note, this is a single card with two cores on it) with Catalyst 12.6. By default, I had Catalyst A.I. setting on standard. Disabling A.I. had fixed the issue I was having.

Hope this will help. I'm not sure if this could be related to Crossfire setup.

Unknown about the moment. I would suggest doing a complete uninstall of the video card drivers then reinstalling them.

I think Disabling the catalyst A.I. disables the crossfire Funktion On your Card so it could be a crossfire Problem After all. But since AMD/ATI have dropped all driver Support for the graphiccards below the HD5xxx Series i dont think it will be fixed any Time soon. Perhaps it could help to try install the new Applications profiles but i dont know if they Support even the older 12.6 drivers.

The new (12.7 and newer) drivers won't install at all because of the Support drop. Eventually the users with such cards and crossfire enabled must switch to newer cards.

I have another problem since the last patch.
I own an AMD Radeon XFX HD 6970 2GB memory. Since the last patch i have strange stutters in gameplay. I move my cockpit to the left or right corner and for a millisecond my game stand still. This behavior comes and go. But espacially in a fight it is verry annoying. Before the patch i had no problems like this, the known issues like 4 fps, crash to desktop etc. are still alive.

Loaded the last ATIdriver 12.10 but with no effect. Reducing the settings or the screen resolution didnt work this problem out.

Same here. GPU utilization still drops at times. Before PowerPlay used to kick in and downclock my GPU to like 250mhz. Maddening but the GPU utilization drop is probably the worst.

Starts at 99%, stays around 99% in the mechlab and drops to 35% shortly after a game launches.
