Any carcasses left standing?
Had a badly damaged commando shut down on the base once. Couldn't see him because he was standing between the base and another dead mech.

No, but even 1 Mech wouldnt stop tapping vs 5 Mechs.
And as far as i know, you have to be "online" to tap or countertap
And as far as i know, you have to be "online" to tap or countertap

All it takes is one mech on their cap to stop YOU from capping... he has to be IN the cap square but still, one is all it takes...

thats new for me... if 5 mechs stand in the tapping zone and 1 mech tries to stop tapping, it should tap on with the equal of 4 mechs. thats my experience...

Hi there,
same strange thing just happened in a Caustic Valley Game.
Two of us standing in the tapping zone with no enemy mech left there but the bar didn't move.
We lost -.-

If there was noting there, be sure to report it to PGI so they can look at it.
I've run into the sneaky opponent that shut down in a concealed spot (depending on which side of Caustic you were on, the one base has some buildings that can give cover), to block capture. They can be easy to miss.

Nope. Completely wrong. All it takes is a single mech to completely stop capping.
I suggest that next time you guys stop tap dancing and commence with capturing the base =D

if it was the base on the top of the landing platform, there is a fire in there, if a mech shuts down in that fire, in just the right spot, its invisible, even an atlas. could be a bug, or not. without 3rd person its almost impossible to land in that spot on purpose, but i have won matches just standing in there. they couldnt cap, and my 1 team member left capped it out himself, the whole time they were saying it was bugged, and they should have won, but i was technically standing there, stopping the cap, incognito, my favorite disguise, a fire and smoke.
