Ah i see you maybe right on that.

yes you system seems plenty good, did not know what you had, try some of the things I suggested, might help some, we can see now tht you and Sare both have just as good if not better systems than I do.

I did set windows to optimal performance, that should help it a bit.. Thanks for the tips sir.

This is an issue with that file or the game. I wasn't having any lag. Jenners didn't have a lag shield and no mech did. Tonight... AS7s have a lag shield...

Same system, same internet connection...

Something changed on the MWO side. I haven't played since Saturday because of my work schedule. SO now I get on and I have to accommodate for a lag shield... something wrong server side.

You maybe right, they are still implementing new things, But hey anything we as a community can suggest to help others deal with this, and potentially increase performance when it is all said and done is a good thing.

try this as well if you havent already

Been there - done that - many times. Helps a bit for about 2 games.

Should perhaps fix a batch file for launching the game that begins by removing shaders before actually launching the game.

edit: I've last made batch files in w 3.11 and dos - seems that it was harder than I remember'd. ^^

you know that was a great idea, and works for me. i just made a lil batch file that cleans the shder cache and then open the game after the cache is clear.

i put the batch file in "Games\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online".

the batch file looks like this:

@echo off

echo deleting shader cache

rmdir /s /q "%~dp0\USER\Shaders\Cache"

echo starting MechWarrior Online

cd "%~dp0\Bin32"

MechWarriorOnline.exe

exit

then i made a shortcut to the desktop, and changed its icon to the MWO icon and presto simple auto cache clean evertime i start mwo. the the batch file may need tweaking on another OS, currently usen win7 ultimate 32 bit.

hope this helps :(

I will totally try this out tonight. I've been seeing jenners rubberband back and forth on top of fps issues, and naturally high ping (the bane of Australian based players).
