Nice man. This a prof that the commando is a good mech.

I'm coming from a game where i solo killed 2 atlases one at a time, of course. Guess in what mech i was? The Centurion! Yep, the mech many people say bad things at it just like the commando!

The atlases
One they fear... the Mechborn!

Fus Ro MECH!

I would say it's more down to me, than the commando itself. My guns are two medium lasers, and one large laser.

No, it's me showing proof that I deserve the nobel prize in warfare, for doing almost 1000 damage in a 25 ton mech, and killing 200 tons of enemies, when I was up against 280 in 25 of my own.

Nice damage output, surely, but i suppose those were plain noobies on the other side, correct?

PS. How did you make that printscreen. All I get is a black screen when I try to do it via PrintScreen button :/

PS2. If UR looking for K/D, drive 3x2SSRM ML setup. I just love to put them jenners to sleep

Those were on mumble. Everybody on my side died, except a dragon and myself. We had to hold the enemy base against all odds, until the dragon died, and I butchered 200 tons of mech, only barely failing to kill the 80 ton awesome, as well.

They were saying lots of funny things by the end.

I use fraps to take my screenshots, and record the videos. I hear the MSI version of fraps also works very well.

I can't do anything against anyone with even a single streak launcher. This commando has maxed out armor, but it doesn't do any good against that weapon.

As someone who loves Commando and has 4 variants almost at Master, I still have to ask the question.

How much easier and faster would you have achieved the same feat in a Jenner?

Actually you've proven two things:
1) You can do really good damage with a commando and solo two Atlases if you have the experience with this mech
2) No matter how much damage you achieved with your mech, your team can still be defeated.

I guess this is why I'm loving this game so much.

I like how people claim the Jenner is the only mech to benfit from bad netcode or the lag shield. Even Cicada's and Hunchies sstill benefit from it. So ofc all the lights will as well. A comando should never be able to solo 2 atlas. Even with the worst pilots in the game.

Main advantage of commando is its ability to take multiple big SRM packs while being farking tiny. Its an insect with a shotgun. It takes advantage of a tabletop precept that players will "shoot what they think they can hit" an dusually commandos are low on that list, lower than they shoudl be considering they can run around dumping 24 + damage alphas on folks

This is BS. It is only an indication that either the others teams gunners where really ******, the had no guided missiles, your lag shield was fully charged and no one seriously attempted to hunt your mech down.
Commando is and always be a tiny , weak mech.

I could easily do twice this damage in a jenner, I think. It has so much more firepower, and more tonnage for heatsinks, plus jets, and a superior lagshield.

If the commando had a variant with 2 missiles and 2 lasers all in the arms, it'd be a lot more competitive.

I run a large laser and two mediums, or twin ER larges. The SRM commandos are 'fun,' but not effective. You want to snipe people right from the start, to put pressure on them.

This is the only mech that gets some use out of the rather bad big energy weapons.

One of the atlas players said 'cue Benny hill music' when the awesome and I started chasing each other. I could probably have stayed behind their oilrig, and won through capping, but I just had to try and kill the awesome, too.

This has been my experience aswell with way over 400 games put into my Commandos. If I'd pit myself against a Jenner, where I was piloting both of the 'mechs (so no skill variable) the Jenner would come out on top every time.
It's the biggest limiting factor for the Commando now, the Match Making pitting a Commando against a Jenner (Raven is a bit less of an issue).

As something absolutely fun you can do with your 1B variant by the way. Put in the STD100 Engine and 2 PPCs. It's surprisingly hillarious and fun now and then.

I tend to disagree on the armament placements though. I find one of the strongest parts of being a Commando is the CT missile slot. People who can aim (lagshield and what-not disregarded) strip off the arms quickly. Having an SRM4 in the CT of my A3 has been the winner quite a few times.
