It's not even proof of that, though I am not doubting the pilots skills. The screen shot simply tells me it's possible to do near 1K damage in a commando, but as long as you had one small laser and enough available time you could do almost as much damage as all of the mechs combined armor. Based off of that common sense, to me this is just an ego post, but I can't pretend to know the posters motivaions. It's just a meh post with my meh reply.
There are far too many variables just suggest anything else.

Have you ever seen the intensity of "The Commando is **** " threads?
I do, however, think this was meant to be a short-lived discussion thread, since his point was pretty much made already and isn't too hard to agree with. Right now I'm just trollin' around... cheers!

No, it's me showing proof that I deserve the nobel prize in warfare, for doing almost 1000 damage in a 25 ton mech, and killing 200 tons of enemies, when I was up against 280 in 25 of my own.
Yes. We all come across some crappy talent newbie PUGs now and again.
And since the Atlas is the worlds easiest mach to strafe, I find myself unimpressed. Just like I have been every time I have killed you.
When people are really good, they seldom feel the need to call attention to it.

It's a nice little light support mech to help out your big buddies with, I don't get too many kills, But I do get 3-4 assists usually

It's actually meant to be a very tiny atlas, in the sense it has all the firepower in the world for its size. To a degree, I guess this is true in MWO.

But yeah, light mechs... just today had one circling me while warping every two seconds for some meters. Couldn't hit him with 3 mechs and had to wait until he ran into something so we finally could kill him. No skill needed, only lag. If someone like that avoids running into obstacles I could very well imagine him doing so much damage while a whole team tries to predict where he'll warp next.

I wasn't doing damage to only them. That's why I have all those assists, too. You're all assuming the game is based around headshots, or 'attacking the weak spots for massive damage.' People can turn, twist, or move, so your damage gets spread. You're not fighting one on one. Mechs take a lot of damage to drop, even if you could put it all in one spot, in a single go.
The fatlases in that game weren't standing around like trial K's, letting us shoot them in the side torsos for two minutes.
