The last patch seems to have introduced this one. When my `Mech shuts down from overheat the HUD frequently (about 30% of the time) gets stuck in overheat mode, meaning there is no HUD to speak of apart from the standard orange mess with shutdown warnings plastered all over the screen. The crosshairs, radar, weapon and mech status and target overlays all disappear, leaving me utterly powerless outside of point-blank range.
Considering that the bug has already caused at least 1 teamkill (a Cat got too close to my target and took a torso-full of lasers from my HBK-4P), and that the only way to fix it is to toggle power (amd considering when I usually overheat, I am likely taking fire from at least 1 `Mech at this point) I would say it`s quite debilitating.
For the record, I`m playing with all settings on Low due to performance issues and `Mechs spontaneously turning into lightbulbs due to HDR.

I have experienced this as well. Often happens when i try to override the shutdown during the begining of the shutdown sequence. Sometimes I can fix this with a powerdown when i run off to safety but not always. Sometimes I have to wait until my heat is back down under 50% or so.

It won't. That bug has been around since May to varying degrees.
