Nice banner! The color scheme is very eye catching. I went with "Wolves" on mine since "Wolfs" isn't actually a word . Unless you add an apostrophe but then it's possessive. Grammar police raid! ...Sorry. Couldn't resist the urge.

Again... Back on topic. We've had several newcommers recently and every one has been great. Welcome aboard! I can't remember the last time I went in to TS3 and found it empty. Come on by and check us out!

This is a fun bunch to run with! Highly recommended if you are looking for a group to learn the game with, our player base ranges from Veterans to Novices and everyone is helpful. Our site has a mech load out area that some of us post our builds in. We encourage folks to tune their builds and don't mind waiting around while someone is doing so in game and in group. We're starting up 8-man groups within the Wolfs and those players are typically encouraged to play together. I'm not a member of any of our 8-mans, but I've been asked to fill in when they're down one so they can continue working on 8-man tactics.

Any how, I said all that to say come join the fun!

You aren't terrible, just inexperienced. You'll get better with time. Just ask for help in games, we'll give you some pointers, and you'll be blasting off arms in no time.

First pointer -- don't take advice from Zraven7! Just joshin' ya man!

Don't take arms, take Torsos! A fast moving heavy / assault has a XL hidden in those side torsos, so concentrate fire on the right or left.

I pick areas on the Mechs to hit, like the circle on the Cataphract. I like ripping people new @$$holes so rear center torso right between the legs, sometime you hit the legs but most of the time you hit the rear center torso.

Legging Mechs is where it's at, Son! Leg an assault? You can get in behind him to gnaw at that sweet sweet backside. Leg a light? He can't run around you like a cockroach after the lights have come on.

Go for the legs. Unless it's an Atlas. Then GO FOR THE EYES BOO, GO FOR THE EEEEEYYYEEEES!!!!

In any case, it really is dependant on what your fighting and how. A dragon can drop quick from torso damage, but also usually has one arm housing a lot of it's firepower, so either is viable. Cataphracts and Atlases usually build fronts and arms heavy armor, at the cost of their back plate. Center of the back is the way to go. A Raven can torso-twist and spread upper-body damage across 8 armor panels, but leg shots only have 2 hit locations to split damage between. Legging lights is good shooting.

The more you play, the more you'll figure out little stuff like this. You'll also develop tricks that work for you, while other people can't figure out how you pull it off without dying. Just keep at it, ask for advice, and watch team mates cams when you go down. And never worry about asking us anything. We'll give you the best answer we have, and likely a bit of humor to go with it.
