I want this game to be good and I want it to still be a challenging and fun exerience...Ya know like games are suppose to be. Not another watered down pretty looking husk that looks good from the outside but once you get into it...It's just an empty boring shell.
Please stop giving in to the crying player base. PLEASE I beg you...Too many companies do this and ruin good games that way. Listen to the old BT/MW fans not the CoD guys that are all about pretty graphics and getting everything without any skill nor effort. I think I speak for most of the players on this game when I say...Don't dumb the game down for those who want everything for nothing and no effort.

That way everything would always hit server-side instead of having to make guesses at the air in front of the target

Maybe we should add regenerating armor, and force all mechs to 'focus' by holding up their arms, or their gunfire will go all over the place whenever you shoot? I think that's a fair direction to take this title. Much more immerse. Then, for each cockpit decoration you own, there'll be a corresponding mech bling piece. So if you buy the golden chalice, your atlas will now be holding an actual golden chalice, too. That way, you won't miss out by using the new and improved 3rd person view.
Don't forget, MC only clan mechs.

If you were paying attention to the last US election, you would know that this is the prevalent attitude now

It's not enough. Some would obviously be confused by needing to interact with the environment. Better to allow everybody to carry 360 AC20 rounds right away, and if they withdraw for a few seconds, their armor will naturally regenerate itself.

Hmm, a feature thats been in the series since the second game.
Please. do go on and tell me how having it some how dumbs this game down.

I can perfectly understand how having 3rd vs 1st person would give the 3rd person guy an advantage.
But... thats implying that they would pair them together. Did it ever occur to anyone on this forum that they would seperate people who use 3rd and 1st person? As in, only 1st person players will be paired against and with first person players ect..
Actually, thats exactly what they implied. Yet somehow... they're betraying the series and dumbing it down by removing a feature thats been a part of the series for 17 years?
...what?

You put jets on the mech.
Then you sit behind a hill, because you can 'see' over it at your liesure. Now you wait for someone to get in range, at which point, you jet up into the air for a fraction of a second, and unleash all your large lasers/gauss rifles.
Then you safely drop back in behind cover again.
That's all of MW3 and MW4's multiplayer, by the way. All of it.
This game's gonna be just like that.

Leave it the **** out of here instead. Shooters don't work in 3rd person. We know this already.
