According to TT the spider is the most maneuverable mech conceived ( that and the venom). How will it stand up as such vs the Jenner? Speeds look to be about the same depending on load out, so the only thing I could suggest is making the Spiders jump capabilities far superior: faster vertical acceleration, faster jet recharge, jumping higher, etc.

By default, Spider has about 10kph advantage over the Jenner, due to 5 ton difference. That will also gonna effect the weight/speed ratio of stronger engines, although Spiders might get lower maximum Engine power due to limited space and higher profile. Spider will also have very slim shape making it harder to hit, and yes, they're taking a bit of their tonnage to wield the greatest amount of particular Jump-Jet modules, which together with their small weight will allow them to jump over mountains and high buildings with ease.

By the time the Spider is released, I believe the JJ will be fixed with having multiple modules. You will also begin to notice that Jenners will have less tonnage to play around with if they want JJ.
