soo its been two weeks with this "new improved grouping" system and I got to say. No one wants to play mechwarrior online anymore. Only afk pugs and tks play now. The groups have all just walked away Complaining about how PGI messed everything up and wishing they had got there refunds sooner...

Its a sad thing when all the Clans, Mercs and IS groups said that messing with the group system would be fine or that it wouldn't matter in the end... But where are they now? there no playing... No one wants to play and the TS3 No Guts no Galaxy is filled with people playing OTHER games that Are NOT MWO...

So are you proud of yourselves PGI? Is this the game you wanted? Well I hope you enjoy it because your stuck with it now... I know one thing is when a development company makes a massive Patch mistake or decides to head in a direction that even they know is completely wrong or will bring the end of there game. They will stick to there guns and denounce anything negative said agained them. Company's don't like to make mistakes, so the best thing to do is ignore it.

PGI your not the first. You wont be the last. But it is probably the most depressing of them all.

Dude, it is just phase 1 of a 3 phase fix. It goes to phase 2 on tuesday... and eventually phase 3 which is proper matchmaking.

Give em time.

Got to say I've been enjoying this game much less lately. The last game I played had 2 players that ran into the enemy and suicided and one that was just plain AFK. Granted that's an extreme example, but nearly every game I've PUGd in has had one person suicide or afk. It's gotten to the point where running through Doom 3 again has more appeal to me than PUGing a couple matches on MWO.

Their time was up when they went open beta.

Achievement Unlocked: *********

edit: lmao this game is run by limp wristed carebears. Can't even say butt|hurt as one word? Maybe there is something to this guy's post. They cave to every whine, and patch stupidity into the game. Bring back tripping please.

Where is this rampant TKing that is apparently going on? I PuG 99.9% of the time and I have never once been purposefully TK'd. I only get accidentally TK'd about once a week. It makes me wonder if you're one of those infuriating players who constantly jump in between two players just as they are duking it out.

Also, just for the record, those "afk" people you see in a lot of games are not afking. Their game crashed, but for whatever reason they still register as in-game.

SOME of those people are. But a majority are simply macro-AFK farming. It's a big problem.

Some of you people whine worse than gradeschoolers -- if you don't like, then go play something else.

Everyone is sick of hearing your broken record.

afraid winners is the only people that forum trash listens too. The louder you cry and matter what the subject, proof or reasoning is, the more likely people will rally to the call.

I cannot comprehend why there are so many matchmaking complaint threads like 3 days before the matchmaking gets fixed.

See the funny thing is, every gamer with any common sense knew that going into open beta with no matchmaking and no real in game tutorials was a recipe for disaster. Putting groups of new players in trial mechs vs veteran players in groups of 8 on TS was just freaking amazingly bad for the game. It should have never happened.

But it did and here we are. Phase 1 has proven that 4 veteran players in TS are way more than enough to tip the balance of any match. I do find it hilarious that so many people that do premades talk as though PGI took grouping out of the game completely. Whether you all are intelligent enough to realize it or not - they had to do something fast. I don't think what they did was the right answer, but they had to do something, why do you think 3rd person came up all of the sudden?

There's no gaurantee that it will be released Tuesday. A lot of dates have been missed by PGI. And quite frankly who knows how well it will work. No class or weight limits doesn't really sound like much of a matchmaking system to me. I have a feeling there will be a lot of 'hardcore' players with sore butts when phase 2 is released. Most of them aren't 1/4 as good as they think they are. A small portion of the community will be stomping 8 mans IMO.
