I would like to suggest adding more stats to the profile tab. As a medium mech pilot with an abyssmal Kill/Death ratio, adding things to the profile stats like Kill Assists, Capture wins/assists, and salvage credits would make me feel better about what I do in game. It seems like I average 3-5 assists per match, but the only thing that shows up in the stats is Kills/Deaths.
For those of you that enjoy posting snarky comments or flaming me out for not being a better pilot; I would invite you to think about how a new player with limited MW/BT experience would react to the tone you take and how turning off newbies is REALLY bad for the game you love. New players are the life-blood of ANY game, especially MMOs, and taunting players with less skill (and possibly less time) is not what respectful players do.

I would like to see more stats for this as well. It would also be great to allow people to select and option to make stats public (good for recruiting to clans / teams). Definitely cap stats, tag, damage done total, most damage in a match, most kills in a match, favored weapon - c'mon, give us the goods!
Still loving the game - thanks!

just my 2 cents, i have never see stats used for anything but shaming. they always come up in a negative way. i just dont see how it can be good for anything.

I think you are right that some people use them that way - I just like to see how I am doing other than kills or K/D. K/D is great, but for me I do pretty high damage most games, but get few kills. I'd like to know what my average damage per match is. Another example is spotting or just playing recon. When I play light recon, I rarely engage until towards the end of the match if possible. I am not one of those guys that goes chasing other lights around - I think the name of the game for lights is survival first, intelligence gathering second and kill the enemy third. So spotting averages, capping times etc. may be a useful thing to see.

If we had extremely detailed stats like in World of Tanks, I'd be very happy about that.

I am 100% with you on that Dave. Stats just take away the fun in a game and are used for petty and immature bragging rights. The most negative effect they have is prompting people to use hacks to cheat in these games. I know during the early stages of APB: Reloaded that was a huge problem and I know for a fact if they had no threat levels that were openly broadcasted to other players people wouldn't have cared enough to cheat in the first place. So I say we should just focus on suggesting things to make this game more fun not more competitive and petty.

I've never actually used stats for bragging rights, but I do still like to see my progress. I like to see what I've done over the course of all my adventures and in the case of WoT, I really like that I can look at my stats for specific tanks and see how well I'm coming along.
I think a lot of people feel the same way...or maybe it's just us noobs who don't get particularly good stats who feel the way I do >_>

Would like to see even more stats though, I am happy with what was added but I would like to see assists and type of assists, saviour kills, components destroyed. I haven't seen any where this is recorded.
I know I am not that good yet, but would like to see the other things I am doing well at...

I honestly rarely look at my stats on the MWO page because they give the right information wrong.
Back in CB, I took a weekend to create my own DB to track drops (mostly as an OCD metagame for myself to budget Cbills, cost of running a mech with R&R, etc. but I would put in all the stats provided at the end of match screen and evolved it along with the stats provided) And the thing that I've noticed between the stats I keep and the ones on the MWO page tell two different stories.
A good example of that is that with my HGN-733c I have better than a 1.0 KDR, but what my data is that it's survivability is pretty low, I'm killed in most matches with it, and have very few assists, where my HGN-732 shows fewer kills, more assists and fewer deaths. With this data, I was able to tweak my 733c into a better mech, my KDR isn't as high with it, but I'm living longer and contributing to the team more.
I think that assists would be nice, as well as component destruction, and have the mechs that are in our bays separated. I have 2 K2s and 2 DDCs and their stats are lumped into one pool. Looking at the page, I couldn't tell which one I'm better with, but in the stats I keep, I can definitely tell which one I need to improve with.
