Maybe next year when the Clans invade, right now it's Inner Sphere only.

It means they COULD add them then. The only certainty is that they won't be added before then.

While the Clans had developed the Shadow Cat in 3003, it was not seen at all in the Inner Sphere until the Battle of Luthien in January of 3052 (that is, just prior to the Battle of Tukayyid in May of 3052).
As such, I would guess that the Shadow Cat would not be in the initial roster of Clan 'Mechs, and that what would be included in that initial roster would be the original 16 Clan OmniMechs used in the initial waves of the Clan Invasion, as listed in TRO 3050:
Fire Moth (Dasher)
Mist Lynx (Koshi)
Kit Fox (Uller)
Adder (Puma)
Viper (Dragonfly)
Ice Ferret (Fenris)
Nova (Black Hawk)
Stormcrow (Ryoken)
Mad Dog (Vulture)
Hellbringer (Loki)
Summoner (Thor)
Timber Wolf (Mad Cat)
Gargoyle (Man O' War)
Warhawk (Masakari)
Executioner (Gladiator)
Dire Wolf (Daishi)

Or you could stop exuding desperation and wait until they appear in the Inner Sphere.

What, are you on crack? Or, is this a joke I just missed out on?
The mighty Flea weighs in at a mere 20 tonnes. It's even lighter than the Commando.

He's saying they are potentially in the list of Clan mechs that will show up in MW:O a year (or more) from now.
Given the amount of time that it apparently takes to design battlemechs in this game, I rather doubt it. I'd put good odds that they mostly stick with pickings from the original 16 omni-mechs. I would, in fact, be quite surprised if more than 2/3 of that list makes the cut.
Keep in mind just how far this game needs to go before it's really at a release-level quality. The number of bugs that need to be fixed, the unfinished features that need to be implemented, the balance issues that need to be tweaked, the mechs and maps that need to be created. This game has a long way to go.
And then to find time to code in Clan mechs, and find a way to make them work...? That's really pushing it. So, I'm personally not expecting a huge number of Clan mechs, initially. I also wouldn't be surprised in the least if the invasion got pushed off by a year, just to give PGI time to catch up.

may this game be fun and playable more than long enough for those of us who belong in this 45 tonner (as in my tag line) to have a chance to field them often and well...

Likewise, the Stormcrow might be able to make that loadout work. (I didn't run the numbers.. but it might be possible.)
It won't look the same... but the weapon loadout should be about right.
As an aside:
Another thing to keep in mind with the whole Clan thing... Clan weaponry is often lighter, smaller or more powerful. Often all three. So the weapons dynamics is different. Point being: there will likely be a breaking-in period whenever PGI gets around to Clan stuff. It's unrealistic to think it'll just show up and be perfectly balanced. Even with all their internal testing, they're still tweaking IS weaponry. Clan tech will likely be much the same.
People expecting Clan stuff to show up 1 year from now and be totally cool... I dunno. I have a hard time seeing that being the case. More likely it's late, and when it does show there is a definite period much like we're going through now with the IS stuff.
