well D3 is keeping me busy for now... when the servers are up. On that note, i was curious about how the servers will work in MWO. Obviously there will not be dedicated private servers and it will be run in a server farm somewhere. Where? How many data centers will there be?

So many questions...

I've been using a mouse and keyboard playing mw4mercs almost daily and it does *pretty* well but there are definitely things left to be desired. When mwo finally arrives I will probably invest in some hardcore gear though. Right now I use a logitech mx mouse on the arm of my chair and it works beautifully but I may get a joystick to replace my keyboard. I wonder if I can mount it on the arm of my chair.....

I'm not sure if I can combo a mouse and joystick though, or even two mice. that could be cool, get a left handed mouse to combine with my current one. From a technical standpoint I mean, for coordination it wouldn't be an issue. I aim and shoot with my mouse (+zoom&targetobject) and everything else is with the keyboard. I would really like to use something else for my twist and throttle though.

Ya know the wait wouldn`t be so bad if the state of PC gaming and actually PC game releases were not in such a sorryazz state. 10 years ago we didn`t have these problems. There were regular timely releases of titles. Today? Game devs are more or less in a perpetual hurry up and wait state. Here are the only titles that remotely interest me.

Hawken, to be released on 12/12/12. So more waiting.
Aliens Colonial Marines delay after delay after delay. So more what? Waiting.
FarCry 3
ARMA 3 Ahuh, you guessed it. MORE waiting.

Oh yeah, MWO..... more waiting. And after that, I am wondering which of these titles will suck the least. Cause it always seems that the 1s you had the highest hopes for.... the dev team ALWAYS does something, adds something whathaveyou to the game, that makes it more or less suck azz. Happens every time. And it especially happens with Dev Teams that thinks they know what is more fun for you, than you do. GearBox Software is high on the Frequent Offender List in this regard.

Hopefully MWO doesn`t appear on the FO List.
