However is there anything that would stop you from downloading and playing today?

A damn meteor.

I treat betas as a chance to help the developer and improve the game for everyone. I treat release as my gameplay.

That said, I only opt to do a beta for those developers which I truly want to help. If I just want to "play", I won't.

For example, I did not want to help with beta in Diablo III. I just wanted to play that game. With Mechwarrior Online I really want to help the developer and ultimately help the game and community because Battletech and Mechwarrior took up a huge part of my gaming and hobby existance.

If I got into the beta, I'd probably take a shower, go to shop, make some food, loiter around a bit (maybe browse some forums or check out news) and then go to sleep perhaps.

I went in to work today to drop off somepaperwork, taking the rest of the day for myself after that. Anyways while I am there, my coworkers car, which was parked in front of me was stolen, my car was slammed into as they sped away. And here I am hitting F5 with the rest of ya....so yeah I have my priorities straight. :/

nothing i know of could make me not play, i have no job, no school, no family that cares and my girlfriend lives overseas.

for this once i can say, that my life is perfect.

well, if i get a beta key at least. else it will be the usual over again.

Death is only a temporary setback.. the proper response is to haunt your house, and play as a Ghost Bear.

Fixed that for ya.

I have all day and nothing to do except read.

Believe it or not, I'm reading the Dark Age novels.

Server crashes. Death wouldn't stop me, I'd have someone wire up electrodes to make my muscles work so I could keep playing until I went completely rigor mortis.

I wouldn't stop having relations with my girlfriend but I'd be playing the beta at the same time, multitasking for the win!

How is the FX series CPU treating you? I was on the fence for the longest time switching between the i5 2500k and the 8120.
