I'm glad not everyone will pay to beta, it may have confused the F2P concept in peoples mind understandably.

Founders being later makes sense (more like a open closed beta ).
Many fans have a program they desire and they'll get some benefits.

Anwyay, if I had to speculate I would say it will involve as wide an array of system specifications as possible, for compatibility testing. And possibly a few of the earliest ones will go to a select few of the more prominent members of the community.
