Hello community members.

I have a class project for my Sociology class and request your assistance. For my class I have to write a paper and the topic that I have chosen is The myth about female gamers interest in Mech Warrior, based on the peer influence of their significant other.

Since I am an avid Mech Warrior fan and got into the genre due to the fact that it was cool metal mech's with big guns, it got me thinking about the other perspective. So my questions to the female community is, what was your reasons for getting into the Mech Warrior experience? Was it solely for your own interest, or were you influenced by someone? I ask these because this game is not the typical female hobby.

If you could assist with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I think it would be best to expand the scope of your project to several popular online games such as Battlefield 3 and Black Ops 2. You may get more data this way.

Sound like Neurobiologics to me.Maybe u take a look at thees fields of Sience too. Sigmund Freud may be of intrest for the Motivationaspect as well, i guess.
