I agree and stated as much many times in closed beta.
Mediums need to be able to flank, and for that you need speed. that is there general role to play and the slow *** mediums we have now are all assault class browler slow so it makes them hard to use as a medium should be used.
The sad reality is all our heavy mechs are faster in stock format than our mediums, whats the hell was PGI thinking whe they made that decision ill never know.
We are in dire need of a mobile medium such as: Shadow Hawk, Griffen, Dervish, Assasin, etc.

Trebuchet? Stock Speed 86. Cicada? Stock Speed 129.
That's your "Mobile Mediums". Reduce Speed on the Cicada to 89 by using a Regular 220 and you free up 15 tons of armor and weapons and it's still faster than any Heavy.

Dervish
Kintaro
Besides that you only have unseens>
Griffin
Scorpion
Shadow Hawk
Wolverine
The possibility of a Kintaro or Dervish are half decent imo.

Off the top of my head, there's the Dervish, and that's really a fire support 'mech; something we have enough of as is.

The artowork and small changes to the current mechs made by PGI look beautiful i have faith that they could bring in the unseens with new models and have them looking acceptable.

Absolutely, and that's what I'm hoping for. I'd love to see PGI's take on the Unseen, and I would gladly pay money to be able to pilot a Wasp, a Shadow Hawk, a Thunderbolt, or a Battlemaster.
IIRC, Garth (or was it Bryan? or Russ?) said that there's nothing really stopping them from using the Unseen. But then again, if that's so, where's my Locust? Where's any of the iconic Battletech 'mechs?
For many of us old BT greybeards, the Unseen *are* Battletech; the clan cheese doesn't even compete. The TRO 3025 is where it's at for me personally, and the Unseen are a big part of that. I don't really care at all about the clans and their less-heat-more-damage-better-at-everything tech.

55 tons is only more efficient if you're adding jump jets.

Also, it should be noted that the Trebuchet is (or, at least, was... as of Ask the Devs 18) planned to be released with two jump-capable variants: the TBT-5J and the TBT-7M.

Both of the above-named Trebuchet variants are 5/8/5 Mediums.

Though, having the Dervish in addition to the other 'Mechs would be great as well...

Run speed isn't rounded to the next hex in MWO. That is why the assaults we have (except aws-9m) all go 48.6 stock instead of 54).
